Below, we have links to all five games that we have highlights of on our YouTube Channel. Also, in those five games, we saw plenty of standout performers that stood out. It's not easy to run on the Tigers for four quarters but Rogers is quickly establishing himself as one of the better running backs in the state's 2027 class. He's been patiently waiting for his chance to be the marquee back in this offense and is off to a strong start this fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1830574' first='Bo' last='Beard'] - 2029 Defensive Back - Washington</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Washington came up short in overtime against Sulphur but sophomore cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1830574' first='Bo' last='Beard'] really impressed us. When we went back and watched the film we shot, it seemed like every time Sulphur would try to threaten with the pass game, it was Beard coming up with play after play. Just a sophomore, Beard had a terrific performance and he's a new name to watch this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1829118' first='Brice' last='Currin'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Sapulpa</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sapulpa's struggles against rival Sand Springs continued on Friday night but senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1829118' first='Brice' last='Currin'] got out to a fast start in the first half. This game was tied at 14 at halftime and Currin accounted for both of Sapulpa's touchdowns. The game turned into a defensive stalemate in the second half but Currin's performance in the first half definitely got our attention. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2244459' first='Brody' last='Williams'] - 2029 Linebacker - Piedmont</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Piedmont absolutely rolled to a big win over Southmoore Thursday night and this was another chance to see sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2244459' first='Brody' last='Williams'] in action. Williams is a 2029 prospect that we're very intrigued by and he had a really good performance on both sides of the ball. He's a hard-hitting linebacker but also found some success as a ball carrier on the offensive side of the ball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='473879' first='Case' last='Alexander'] - 2027 Tight End/Linebacker - Washington</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Any time Washington tight end and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='473879' first='Case' last='Alexander'] is on the field, he's going to be arguably the best player on that field. That was the case again Friday night as the Penn State commit and the Warriors came up short against Sulphur but he was special on both sides. He emerged as one of their top targets on offense and he was a heat-seeking missile on defense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Sand Springs</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We don't believe there's any question about this but Sand Springs senior [player_tooltip player_id='1530080' first='Dom' last='Forbes'] is one of the best football players in the state. He showed why on Friday night as he helped the Sandites beat rival Sapulpa. Forbes made catch after catch and continued to show why he might be the best receiver in Oklahoma. But he was also used in short yardage situations as a wildcat QB and excelled in the run game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1651151' first='Jamane' last='Stubblefield'] - 2028 Athlete - Ardmore</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ardmore junior [player_tooltip player_id='1651151' first='Jamane' last='Stubblefield'] might have had the best individual performance that we watched in person in week one. Ardmore rolled over rival Ada and Stubblefield was lights out on both sides of the ball. He only carried the ball four times but finished with nearly 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was also a very productive player on defense for Ardmore in the win. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1035152' first='Jordan' last='Lane'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Tuttle</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We had Tuttle senior [player_tooltip player_id='1035152' first='Jordan' last='Lane'] as one of the players to watch heading into week one's biggest games and he certainly answered the call. Lane had a huge touchdown reception in the second half of their win over Newcastle and he put the nail in their coffin in the fourth quarter with an interception with less than a minute to play. In all three phases of the game, Lane is special. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1838499' first='Michael' last='Morris'] - 2028 Linebacker - Sulphur</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sulphur's defense got stops when they needed to, time after time and we came away impressed with the play of junior [player_tooltip player_id='1838499' first='Michael' last='Morris'] at the linebacker position. Morris was another player that stood out in person and then when we watched the film back. It seemed like more times than not, Morris was making the play on the ball carrier or at the very least, he was around the ball carrier. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1831889' first='Montre' last='McGlugritch'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Newcastle</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Newcastle's offense started to figure some things out in the second half and made things interesting against rival Tuttle. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1831889' first='Montre' last='McGlugritch'] is a 2027 prospect that got on our radar back in the spring and he had a good game on Thursday night. He caught a big pass on fourth down and broke some arm tackles to get in the end zone. He's a 2027 name to follow this fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1839586' first='Slate' last='Snider'] - 2027 Linebacker - Tuttle</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tuttle's hard-hitting defense was lights out, containing Newcastle's offense for nearly all four quarters. Senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1839586' first='Slate' last='Snider'] is another name that we didn't know about prior to week one but that quickly changed after watching him in person and going back and watching our film. Snider was every where on the football field and was constantly making plays from his linebacker position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1838493' first='Traber' last='Sartors'] - 2027 Quarterback/Defensive Back - Sulphur</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1838493' first='Traber' last='Sartors'] was making his first start for Sulphur at the quarterback position and he made some big plays down the stretch with his arm and his legs to help the Bulldogs to a 28-27 overtime win. He impressed on offense but he also came up clutch on defense. As Washington went for the win, Sartors made a play at the goal line to keep the Warriors out of the end zone.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='946188' first='Tyson' last='Laster'] - 2027 Athlete - Ardmore</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ardmore did a lot right as they dominated their rivalry clash with Ada on Friday night. 2027 standout [player_tooltip player_id='946188' first='Tyson' last='Laster'] has been a dude for the Tigers since his freshman season. On Friday night, he was outstanding on both sides of the ball. Whether it was offense or defense, Laster made plays at a high level and is primed for a monster senior season with a very talented Ardmore team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
