was simply a magnet to the football a year ago. He led the team in receptions and also finished with a handful of turnovers on the defensive side of the ball. In addition to having Jalen returning, the Tigers also bring back Jordan and they’ll be able to do a variety of things with him in all three phases of the game. They’ll get creative with putting the ball in his hands.

Lane was a large part of Tuttle’s State Championship success. Lane recorded over 1,000 receiving yards in 2025 with 6 receptions in the state game alone. Lane has big play ability but can be a possession guy as well. His route running and ball skills make him a threat when playing man to man. Lane doesn’t have the biggest frame but he plays big, winning 50/50 balls against taller opponents. Lane plays along side his brother Jalen as a “pick your poison” duo and will continue to bring success to the Tiger’s program.

We told you, this is a Newcastle team to keep an eye on moving forward with some really talented playmakers in the state’s 2026 and 2027 classes. Just like Jalen, Jordan possesses unreal speed and as he continues to develop all the other attributes at wide receiver or just a general playmaker, he’s going to be a big name to watch. Newcastle is going to be a fun team to watch offensively with all the weapons they have coming back for this season.
