This week, district play opened up for most teams across the state and we saw some outstanding performances. In fact, we have breakdowns featuring over 50 different players from across the state!   [player_tooltip player_id='1837351' first='Alec' last='Shumard'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Newcastle   Newcastle has continued to roll following their brutal start to the season against defending 5A and 4A state champs. They won Friday night and senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1837351' first='Alec' last='Shumard'] had a big night in the win. Shumard finished with over 150 yards and three touchdowns on just six catches. They have a showdown with Elgin coming soon but Shumard and the Racers have looked really good.   [player_tooltip player_id='1743237' first='Alex' last='Houk'] - 2027 Running Back - Fairview   Fairview has gotten off to a great start this season and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1743237' first='Alex' last='Houk'] has been a big reason behind that. In their district opening-win, Houk ran for 82 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries. He also hauled in a 27-yard touchdown reception. With district play starting, the heat goes up as well as Fairview find themselves in perhaps the toughest district in Class A-1.   [player_tooltip player_id='1837293' first='Ayden' last='Gaines'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Claremore   Claremore found themselves in a fight with Nathan Hale to open up district play on Friday night. But once again, senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1837293' first='Ayden' last='Gaines'] had a big night both offensively and in special teams. Gaines had four catches for 82 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a kick for another touchdown. Anytime Gaines gets the ball in his hands, he's a threat to score.   [player_tooltip player_id='2252309' first='Aydrian' last='Knighten'] - 2027 Running Back - Wynnewood   Wynnewood came up short in the district opener against Mangum but senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='2252309' first='Aydrian' last='Knighten'] accounted for almost all of their touchdowns and was incredibly productive from start to finish. Knighten finished the night with a pair of rushing touchdowns and he also took a kick back for a score. Knighten was very fun to watch in person and he had a great night.   [player_tooltip player_id='1836829' first='Blake' last='Bartmann'] - 2028 Athlete - Victory Christian   Victory Christian continues to be a very interesting team to follow in Class 2A-1. They've gotten off to a great start and junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1836829' first='Blake' last='Bartmann'] was pretty much unstoppable in their week four win. He finished with 274 total yards and three touchdowns in the win over Roland. But now, Bartmann and Victory turn their attention to a showdown with top-ranked Lincoln Christian.   [player_tooltip player_id='1035272' first='Braddox' last='Broughton'] - 2027 Quarterback - Sapulpa   Sapulpa rolled to a big win over East Central on Friday night and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1035272' first='Braddox' last='Broughton'] was nearly perfect in the win. It was a quick night for Broughton and most of the Sapulpa starters. The senior signal caller threw for over 200 yards and four touchdowns while completing 11 of his 14 passes. It was a quick and efficient but also very productive night for Broughton and the Chieftains.   [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] - 2027 Running Back - Coweta   Coweta knew they were hosting one of the biggest games in week four as they hosted Del City Friday night. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] used that as another stage to show that he might be the best football player in the state of Oklahoma this year. Against another top five opponent, Heilmann could not be stopped. He finished with nearly 200 yards and accounted for both of Coweta's touchdowns.   [player_tooltip player_id='1679361' first='Brody' last='Merritt'] - 2029 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Pocola   Pocola came up short, losing to Vian in a close one to open up district play. But when we went back and looked at our video of this game, it's hard to argue against sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1679361' first='Brody' last='Merritt'] being the best player on the field. He was outstanding on both sides of the ball. He had 165 yards and two touchdowns on eleven catches. He also had nine tackles, including a tackle for loss on defense.   [player_tooltip player_id='1717266' first='Brody' last='Smith'] - 2029 Quarterback - Metro Christian   Metro Christian took care of business to open up district play on Friday night after a big win over Holland Hall in week three. Sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1717266' first='Brody' last='Smith'] was solid in the win, throwing for over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 13-23 passing while also adding five carries for just shy of 100 yards and a touchdown. Metro has been on a roll in the last few weeks.   [player_tooltip player_id='1717263' first='Cai' last='Brookover'] - 2027 Quarterback - Regent Prep   Regent Prep remained undefeated on the season, kicking off district play with a bang Friday night. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1717263' first='Cai' last='Brookover'] had a big night throwing and running the football. He threw for 280 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 14-21 passing. He also added 165 yards and five touchdowns on 18 carries. He's gotten off to a great start this season and shows no signs of slowing down.   [player_tooltip player_id='1837059' first='Cash' last='Keys'] - 2027 Athlete - Fort Gibson   If Fort Gibson wins on Friday night, there's a good chance that senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1837059' first='Cash' last='Keys'] will end up on this list every Sunday. Keys is a dominant athlete that seems to do everything at a high level. He had six catches for 70 yards and two touchdowns while adding five carries for 65 yards. Then he turned around and had four tackles and two interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='1343433' first='Cash' last='Worley'] - 2027 Quarterback - Kiefer   Kiefer is still undefeated and they continue to just absolutely steamroll opponents. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1343433' first='Cash' last='Worley'] is looking like one of the best players in the state and Friday night was another example of that. Worley threw for 160 yards and four touchdowns on 4-5 passing. He also had three carries for 71 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was an unbelievably efficient and productive night.   [player_tooltip player_id='1830238' first='Cason' last='Frymire'] - 2027 Quarterback - Thomas   Thomas took care of business, opening up district play in style on Friday night. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1830238' first='Cason' last='Frymire'] led the way in the win, finishing with 136 yards and two touchdowns on 8-16 passing. He also had nearly 90 yards and a touchdown on ten carries. Thomas was dealing with some injuries to key positions and Frymire helped keep the Terriers on the right track with the win.   [player_tooltip player_id='1680012' first='Cayden' last='Belletto'] - 2027 Quarterback - Elgin   Elgin remained undefeated, rolling to win over Lawton MacArthur to open up district play. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1680012' first='Cayden' last='Belletto'] is continuing to have an oustanding senior season. He finished with 125 yards and four touchdowns on 10-16 passing. We thought that Belletto could have a pretty big year with Elgin relying on him more on offense and he's certainly lived up to the preseason hype.   [player_tooltip player_id='1509037' first='Chase' last='Benham'] - 2027 Running Back/Linebacker - Stilwell   Stilwell improved to 4-0 on the season and they've now doubled their win total from a year ago. Senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1509037' first='Chase' last='Benham'] had a good night on both sides of the ball in the low scoring game. He finished with nearly 150 yards on 27 carries on offense. Then he turned around and had 13 tackles and also finished the night with two and a half sacks in the win.   [player_tooltip player_id='1735181' first='Chauncey' last='Cravens'] - 2027 Quarterback - Edmond North   Edlam between Edmond North and Edmond Memorial couldn't be more exciting than what we saw as the Huskies beat the Bulldogs 39-36. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1735181' first='Chauncey' last='Cravens'] gave us another reminder why he should be considered the best quarterback in a QB-loaded 6A-1. Cravens threw for 339 yards and two touchdowns while adding 141 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.   [player_tooltip player_id='1832124' first='Chris' last='Razook'] - 2027 Running Back - Community Christian   Community Christian's offense is getting better and better and they've become one of the better scoring offenses in Class 2A-2. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1832124' first='Chris' last='Razook'] has been a borderline unstoppable back and this week was no different. He carried the ball only ten times Friday night and still gained 183 yards and half of those carries went for touchdowns. He finished with five on the night and that's become the norm.   [player_tooltip player_id='1522520' first='Cooper' last='Kerbo'] - 2028 Linebacker - Mangum   Mangum got the win against Wynnewood and they had quite a few players stand out throughout the night in southwestern Oklahoma. But we're giving the nod to junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1522520' first='Cooper' last='Kerbo'] because this Mangum defense did a great job limiting Wynnewood's offense and Kerbo was the leader in that. He finished with nearly 20 tackles, including a handful for a loss.   [player_tooltip player_id='1828129' first='Daemon' last='Cohee'] - 2027 Running Back - Ardmore   Ardmore remained unbeaten and for the most part, unchallenged so far this season. It seems like every week, the Tigers have another player emerge that is incredibly productive and this week is no different. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1828129' first='Daemon' last='Cohee'] ended up being their big play guy on Friday night and he only carried the ball three times. But when those three carries result in 166 yards, you earn a spot here.   [player_tooltip player_id='2243581' first='Demariaun' last='Antwine'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Vian   Vian knocked off Pocola in a big district opener on Friday night. This was a game that we covered in person and we came away incredibly impressed with the play of senior [player_tooltip player_id='2243581' first='Demariaun' last='Antwine'] on both sides of the ball. He was constantly making big play after big play on offense and defense. Talking with Vian's coaches after, they kept mentioning how they need to get him even more involved moving forward.   [player_tooltip player_id='1828505' first='Devin' last='Chatman'] - 2028 Quarterback - Mount St. Mary   Mount St. Mary junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1828505' first='Devin' last='Chatman'] came in the game and helped spark a comeback win over Marlow that might be arguably the biggest win in program history. Chatman threw for nearly 250 yards and four touchdowns on 13-19 passing. The Rockets kicked a game-winning field goal with a couple seconds left but Chatman got them back in a position to win that game.   [player_tooltip player_id='1833996' first='Drew' last='Snider'] - 2029 Running Back - Kingfisher   Kingfisher won a very exciting game on the road against North Rock Creek, in a battle of two unbeaten teams in Class 3A. Sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='1833996' first='Drew' last='Snider'] had a big night in the win. He finished with 177 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. That was a big win for Kingfisher because this district is going to be an absolute gauntlet and every win is going to count in a major way.   [player_tooltip player_id='1830514' first='Hagen' last='Copeland'] - 2028 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Hennessey   Hennessey handed Christian Heritage their first loss on the season and it was the defense that grabbed headlines, forcing a ton of turnovers throughout the night. Junior two-way player [player_tooltip player_id='1830514' first='Hagen' last='Copeland'] had a big night on both sides of the ball. He caught a touchdown on offense but it was his defensive play that earns him a spot on this list. He had three interceptions in the win on Friday.   [player_tooltip player_id='1704643' first='Issac' last='Torres'] - 2028 Running Back - Pryor   Pryor had another balanced night as they improved to 3-1 on the season. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1704643' first='Issac' last='Torres'] has had a fantastic start to his junior season and has been a big weapon for the Tigers since coming over from Locust Grove. Torres ran for nearly 130 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries. We're only a month into the season but Torres has established himself as a touchdown machine.   [player_tooltip player_id='1838632' first='Jason' last='Mojica'] - 2028 Running Back - Owasso   Owasso found themselves in an absolute dog fight with Stillwater on Friday night. And while they've been running back by committee for the most part, junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1838632' first='Jason' last='Mojica'] ended up with a career night. He ran for over 150 yards and accounted for all three Owasso touchdowns in the win. Now, they shift their focus to opening district play against Jenks Friday.   [player_tooltip player_id='1026222' first='Jaxson' last='Murray'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Marlow   Marlow came up short, losing a heartbreaker to Mount St. Mary on Friday night. But senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1026222' first='Jaxson' last='Murray'] had one of the better offensive performances from week four. Murray led the team with six catches that went for 240 yards and four touchdowns. Murray and the Outlaws came up short on the scoreboard but they still look like one of the best teams in Class 3A.   [player_tooltip player_id='1839512' first='Jensen' last='Underwood'] - 2029 Quarterback - Verdigris   Verdigris improved to 4-0 on the season and sophomore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1839512' first='Jensen' last='Underwood'] had a pretty special performance in their district opener. Underwood threw for 360 yards and seven touchdowns on just 13-16 passing. Four different wide receivers caught touchdowns on Friday night. That's one thing that really stands out about Underwood this season. He gets everyone involved on offense.   [player_tooltip player_id='1261180' first='Jescee' last='Sanders'] - 2027 Running Back - Salina   Salina senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1261180' first='Jescee' last='Sanders'] had one of the better performances of his career as the Wildcats opened up district play with a win. Sanders had 23 carries for over 250 yards and two touchdowns. But he also had seven tackles, including four tackles for loss in the win. Salina will need more of that from Sanders as they go further into a very competitive district in Class 2A-2.   [player_tooltip player_id='1164601' first='Jett' last='Frankum'] - 2028 Running Back/Defensive Back - Plainview   We just added Plainview junior [player_tooltip player_id='1164601' first='Jett' last='Frankum'] to our Player Of The Year Watchlist on Friday and to be transparent, we thought it might have been too early for that. It wasn't. He immediately backed up the choice, going out and running for 377 yards and four touchdowns on 33 carries. He also took a punt 45 yards back for his fifth touchdown on the night. He has been playing lights out all year.   [player_tooltip player_id='1667339' first='Jeymon' last='Reed'] - 2029 Quarterback - Jones   Jones made quick work of Daniel Webster on Friday night, rolling to an 80-0 win over the struggling TPS program. Sophomore quarterback played a little into the second quarter but his night was over pretty early. Reed threw for over 300 yards and six touchdowns on 19-22 passing. Reed once again looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the state of Oklahoma.   Jonah Miller - 2030 Quarterback - Chisholm   Here's a new name to file away as we move further into the 2026 season. Chisholm freshman quarterback Jonah Miller had a big night in what might be a breakout moment for the 2030 prospect. He threw for over 250 yards and four touchdowns while completing 13 of his 17 passes. He also added over 100 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He looks like a name we need to learn more about.   [player_tooltip player_id='2253649' first='Jordan' last='Denson'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Chandler   Chandler coaches were excited about the potential of senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='2253649' first='Jordan' last='Denson'] when we talked to them back in the summer. We think he's still exceeded all preseason expectations this fall. Chandler got a big district win on the road against Dickson and Denson was lights out. He had six catches for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns. So far this year, he's been a touchdown magnet.   [player_tooltip player_id='1833650' first='Jordyn' last='Lewis'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Idabel   Idabel senior [player_tooltip player_id='1833650' first='Jordyn' last='Lewis'] is another guy that has gotten used to being on these weekly breakdowns. Despite the loss to Kingston, Lewis was once again one of the best players on the field Friday night. He caught seven passes and finished with nearly 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also turned around and had seven tackles and a few pass break ups on the defensive side of the ball.   [player_tooltip player_id='1838145' first='Josiah' last='Hardy'] - 2028 Running Back - Millwood   Millwood made quick work of Newkirk to open up district play and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1838145' first='Josiah' last='Hardy'] had an incredibly efficient night with the football in his hands. Hardy only had five carries on the night. He finished with 184 yards and three touchdowns on those five carries. He also had a 35-yard touchdown reception and had another touchdown called back for a penalty.   [player_tooltip player_id='2325417' first='Kayden' last='Fenwick'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Kingston   Kingston took care of business in their district opener, beating Idabel on Friday night. Senior wide receiver and defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2325417' first='Kayden' last='Fenwick'] looked the part on both sides of the ball. Fenwick finished with five catches for nearly 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He was also solid on the defensive side of the ball in the secondary and Kingston will need that as a showdown with Sulphur looms in the future.   [player_tooltip player_id='2250960' first='Kenyan' last='Hill'] - 2027 Running Back/Defensive Back - Sallisaw   Sallisaw made quite the statement on Friday when they took down top-ranked Broken Bow on Friday night. It was a complete team effort but senior [player_tooltip player_id='2250960' first='Kenyan' last='Hill'] was special on both sides of the ball. Hill had 12 carries for 119 yards and four catches for 98 yards and a touchdown. When Sallisaw scored a touchdown to trail Broken Bow 35-34 late, they gave Hill the ball for the game-winning two point conversion.   [player_tooltip player_id='1828424' first='Kion' last='Floranda'] - 2027 Kicker - Carl Albert   For the second straight week, Carl Albert's winning streak was in jeopardy and it came down to a kick in the final seconds. And for the second straight week, senior kicker Kion Florianda was the hero for the Titans. This one was more dramatic as the Titans actually trailed Guthrie in the final seconds. But Florianda booted a 22-yard field goal with ten seconds left to give Carl Albert their 58th straight win.   [player_tooltip player_id='1599209' first='Knoxtyn' last='Rallo'] - 2028 Athlete - Choctaw   Choctaw is starting to build momentum, winning their third straight game and opening district play with a big win over Norman. Junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='1599209' first='Knoxtyn' last='Rallo'] is starting to settle into his role with his new team after moving to Choctaw in the spring. Rallo caught four passes and had 100 yards and a touchdown. He also added a 33-yard touchdown run in the win over the Tigers.   [player_tooltip player_id='1836534' first='Landynn' last='Thomason'] - 2027 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back - Checotah   Checotah has been led by their junior quarterback all season but this week, it was senior [player_tooltip player_id='1836534' first='Landynn' last='Thomason'] that led them to the win to remain undefeated to start the season. Thomason finished with four catches that went for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had two interceptions on the night as the Checotah defense was constantly forcing turnovers.   Logan Hickerson - 2028 Quarterback - Cascia Hall   Cascia Hall remained undefeated on the season after beating Blackwell to open up district play. Junior quarterback Logan Hickerson was simply perfect in a very quick night of wick. Hickerson threw for 64 yards and two touchdowns on a perfect 7-7 passing. He also added two touchdowns on his only two carries of the game. Cascia Hall and Kiefer are on a crash course for one another.   [player_tooltip player_id='1830934' first='Logan' last='Waymire'] - 2027 Wide Receiver - Poteau   Poteau had a very balanced night as they handed Mannford their first loss of the season. Senior wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1830934' first='Logan' last='Waymire'] ended up standing out the most, finishing the night with nine catches for 122 yards and a pair of touchdowns. But now, all eyes will be on Waymire and the Pirates as they go on the road to face a Broken Bow team that just got knocked out of the number one spot.   [player_tooltip player_id='1743538' first='Mack' last='Powell'] - 2028 Running Back/Linebacker - Bristow   After an 0-3 start, Bristow was ready to get a fresh start in district play. They took advantage, doubling up Inola on Friday night and junior [player_tooltip player_id='1743538' first='Mack' last='Powell'] was an absolute beast on both sides of the ball. Bristow handed Powell the ball 28 times and he finished with 272 yards and five touchdowns in the win. He also finished with ten tackles on the defensive side of the ball on Friday night.   [player_tooltip player_id='2370840' first='Max' last='Madrid'] - 2029 Running Back/Defensive Back - Lincoln Christian   Lincoln Christian sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2370840' first='Max' last='Madrid'] is enjoying a breakout season on both sides of the ball for the Bulldogs this season. They fell down early but would beat Tahlequah Sequoyah 35-21 in a highly anticipated district opener. Madrid ran for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. He then turned around and was productive on defense, finishing the night with seven tackles in the win.   [player_tooltip player_id='2241483' first='Maxx' last='Hammer'] - 2027 Linebacker - Davis   It might be the best name for a linebacker in the state. Davis senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='2241483' first='Maxx' last='Hammer'] had a big night on Thursday as Davis bounced back from two straight losses with a big district win. Hammer had eleven tackles with four coming behind the line of scrimmage. But he also forced two fumbles as the Wolves continue to look like one of the best teams in Class 2A-2.   Nathan Rice - 2027 Running Back - Piedmont   Piedmont opened up district play with a solid win over Putnam City and the Wildcats continue to have a very balanced attack on offense. Senior Nathan Rice had an impressive performance in the win, finishing with only eight carries that went for over 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Now, all eyes will be on Piedmont in the next two weeks as they face Muskogee and Choctaw in back to back weeks.   [player_tooltip player_id='1307135' first='Noah' last='Smith'] - 2027 Quarterback - Lawton   Lawton went on the road and got a big district win over Midwest City in a game that was somewhat of a homecoming for head coach Lorenzo Williams. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1307135' first='Noah' last='Smith'] had a big night in the win. He threw for well over 300 yards and three touchdowns on 18-25 passing. He also added over 30 yards on the ground in Lawton's win as they jump into the 5A top ten this week.   [player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] - 2027 Running Back - Broken Arrow   Broken Arrow found themselves in a 21-6 hole early on against Norman North but they didn't flinch. They relied on their unbelievably strong run game and they got the job done. The Tigers have the best running back room in the state and this week, senior [player_tooltip player_id='649663' first='Octavian' last='Roberson'] led the way. He finished with 18 carries for over 150 yards and three touchdowns in the dominant win.   [player_tooltip player_id='1506286' first='Ozias' last='Adams'] - 2027 Running Back - Moore   Moore is off to a 4-0 start and senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1506286' first='Ozias' last='Adams'] is a big reason behind that. We knew coming into the season that Adams was one of the better running backs in Class 6A-1 and he reminded everyone why on Friday night. Adams ran for over 150 yards and three touchdowns and also had three catches for 37 yards. Look for more big performances as the competition ratchets up.   [player_tooltip player_id='1834361' first='Prince' last='Austin'] 2028 Running Back - Wagoner   After a tough start to the season, Wagoner got their first win of the year, beating Miami by 40 points in the district opener. Junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1834361' first='Prince' last='Austin'] is right there with some of the other top running backs that had quick and productive nights. Austin only had ten carries on Friday night but finished with 200 yards and four touchdowns. The Bulldogs are starting to pick up some momentum at the right time.   [player_tooltip player_id='1268717' first='Sterling' last='Jordan'] - 2029 Wide Receiver - Beggs   We knew that Beggs sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1268717' first='Sterling' last='Jordan'] had the potential of being a breakout star but his performance in the win over Atoka was one of the most efficient performances that we saw on Friday night. He had three catches on the night. In those three catches, he totaled 174 yards and all three went for touchdowns. It was just an outstanding performance from the Beggs sophomore.   [player_tooltip player_id='1837241' first='Tylan' last='Montgomery'] - 2027 Running Back - Bixby   Bixby found themselves in another fight with Mustang after dealing with weather delays for the second straight year. The Spartans relied once again on a strong rushing attack and senior [player_tooltip player_id='1837241' first='Tylan' last='Montgomery'] led the team in rushing in what could be a breakout game for him. He had 13 carries for 191 yards and a touchdown. That touchdown was the game-clinching score for the Spartans.   [player_tooltip player_id='1829479' first='Tyler' last='Martin'] - 2029 Kicker - Wyandotte   Carl Albert's Florianda wasn't the only one with the late game heroics.
