Edmond North signal caller Chauncey Cravins feels like the ultimate X-factor on this breakdown and in Class 6A-1. Cravins is one of the better athletes in the state’s 2027 class. He’s also one of the best basketball prospects in the class. Sound familiar? There’s a lot of Cravins’ game that feels similar to what we’ve seen from Howell at Broken Bow over the last few seasons. Cravins debuts in the 2027 rankings in the top ten for the quarterback group but his ceiling is unbelievably high moving forward. It would not surprise us to check back in on this group in October or November and consider Cravins a top five quarterback in the class. Not only does he have the athletic ability and overall playmaking ability, but he was doing it last season against the toughest competition in Class 6A-1. There’s no doubt that Cravins is one of the best athletes in the state and we’re fired up to see him soon.

Even against some of the toughest opponents, Cravens was still finding a way to produce. And with the majority of his offensive teammates returning, the chemistry should be there for Cravens to have a big junior year.
