About Donnie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Dual Threat QB - Good arm power, accuracy, and pocket presence but also possess the ability to escape defenders, which allows him to extend plays and throw on the run as needed. Playing style allows greater flexibility in the team's passing and running game. Growing in the RPO reads and making audibles at the line based on coverages.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

God, Family, Football! Team first guy. Love to see my teammates succeed and lead them with my own play and encouraging words. Very mellow off the field, which helps me stay calm on the field when facing adversity.

Donnie, a Class of 2029 prospect out of Millwood High School, is already showing promise at the quarterback position. He threw for 1,226 yards and 14 touchdowns this past season, and he shows he has the skill set. He has a nice touch on the ball, stands tall in the pocket, and isn’t fazed by pressure. He is willing to step up and deliver throws with defenders closing in. Donnie shows good ball placement and does a well extending plays when the pocket collapses. He can take off and scramble when needed, but what stands out is his ability to keep his eyes downfield and continue looking for an open receiver.
