Lawton quarterback and Oklahoma commit Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK has about as much momentum as any 2027 prospect as we get closer to kicking off the 2026 football season. At this time last year, Smith was at Blanchard and was preparing to start for the Lions. They had an up and down season and Smith got a fresh start at Lawton this offseason. He joined a Wolverine team that has their arrow pointing up with nearly everyone back from last year’s team. Smith then absolutely torched the camp circuit, earning an offer from OU. He would commit to the Sooners immediately and has been loyal to OU ever since. Smith is a big quarterback that has a very strong arm. The ceiling for him has always been high and he’s shown that throughout the offseason. 

2027 quarterback Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK is a new addition to the Lawton roster after spending the last few years at Blanchard. Smith has had a very busy offseason. In addition to getting acclimated with his new team, Smith tore it up on the camp circuit. He was offered by Oklahoma and committed on the spot. Smith is a 2027 quarterback that has shown promise for a long time now. We’re looking forward to seeing how he carries the momentum from a very successful offseason into the fall. He’s going to have weapons around him and a strong offensive line to put up some big time numbers. 

Blanchard’s Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK rounds out the top ten for the quarterback position and he’s another signal caller that could end up being much higher on this list by the end of the 2026 season. Smith got his first taste of QB1 work last season and it was a mixed bag of performances. He definitely checks a lot of boxes from a physical standpoint and he was productive during his junior season. As he continues to improve his accuracy and limit the turnovers, Smith is going to be an absolute weapon in the passing game. The arm talent is there and with more experience, that should put him in a higher category for this position group. We really like his ability to score in those short yardage situations. He ended up leading the Lions in rushing touchdowns last season. Smith is a QB prospect with a lot of upside and we’re looking forward to seeing the progress he’s made throughout the offseason.

Junior quarterback Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK steps into his first full season as QB1 of the Blanchard offense. Last season, Smith would fill in for their original starter at various times throughout the year. He definitely passed the eye test when we watched him in person earlier this year. Smith will now take the keys to this Blanchard offense and looks to have a breakout season. Last year, Smith would throw for just shy of 1,000 yards and ten touchdowns. His best game came against 5A runner up Guthrie in week three. If that’s a sign of what’s to come, Blanchard’s offense should be in good shape this season. They averaged just shy of 35 points per game last season and could be around that mark if not higher in 2025.

Blanchard quarterback Noah Smith Noah Smith 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Lawton | 2027 State OK feels like a name that is on the verge of breaking out in a big way. Smith got very valuable playing time during his sophomore season when the Lions were missing their eventual QB1. So Smith will go into the 2025 season with some experience and he won’t be as raw as a new starter. Smith kept Blanchard’s offense rolling in 2024 and then he came to our camp in January and was a standout at the quarterback position. But he’s one of the quarterbacks in this class that we have circled when it comes to the 2025 season. Blanchard loses a lot of talent in the skill department so Smith is going to have to find new connections with wide receivers. But he definitely passes the eye test from a physical standpoint and he has showcased some serious arm strength. Watching him go to work this fall will definitely be high on our priority list.
