Jescee put together an impressive junior season this past season, totaling 125 carries for 1,398 yards (11.0 yards per carry) showcasing his big-play ability. He is a patient runner with good footwork, allowing blocks to develop before quickly identifying and attacking running lanes. He runs with a strong base and physicality, consistently lowering his shoulders and not going down on first contact. Despite his size, he moves well in space and shows the ability to contribute in the passing game, making him a weapon out of the backfield. Overall, a well-rounded back who combines vision, toughness, and versatility.

at one of our camps and he not only earned our attention but also the coaches in attendance. He was considered one of the better players in his position group and then we got another chance to see him last fall and he backed up all the hype we had around his name coming into the 2025 season. Sanders is an absolute bowling ball of a running back and it routinely takes two or three defenders to bring him down. We watched Sanders go to work against two of the top defenses in 2A-2 with Adair and Davis and he made them working overtime to try and bring him down throughout the night.

will be the other running back to keep an eye on. He split carries with Hawk last season and it’s expected that we’ll see much of the same this fall. A little over a year ago, we got our first look at Sanders when he attended one of our offseason camps. He was one of the top running backs in attendance that day. Now, he is looking to become one of the more consistent running backs in Class 2A-2. This three-headed offensive monster of O’Neal, Hooker and Sanders is a big reason why we think the Wildcats will be improved offensively.

out of Salina. Sanders isn’t the only 2027 standout from Salina that is on our radar but he’s the newest guy that we’ll be keeping an eye on moving forward. We didn’t know much of anything about Sanders prior to the camp but he immediately caught our attention during the competition portion of the camp. It felt like every time Sanders was going one on one with a linebacker, he was getting the best of him and he was doing it in a variety of ways. He could create instant separation with quick cuts but he also made plenty of contested catches. Sanders wasn’t on our radar before but he definitely is now and moving forward.
