The long process is over but our updated in-state senior rankings are here! We start our rankings with the "Tennessee Top 300" but in this piece, we talk about the "Top 100" and how they rank inside each individual position.

- The first edition of senior prospect rankings have finally arrived and it may be the deepest class ever, especially when you look inside our database and notice who is not ranked. This is a talented class that stands out on the offensive side of the ball with a strong O-line crop and a deep set of pass catchers between the receivers and tight ends. It's also a class that will grow deeper as we march through the Fall season, which is where you will see an expansion and update from our three to five hundred prospects.

Offense

- Looking through all the positions, our in-state senior offensive line class appears to be the best and deepest of all. You have two big men ranked inside the top ten with [player_tooltip player_id='1159814' first='Antonio' last='Keefer'] (6th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1695926' first='Princeton' last='Uwaifo'] (7th). Those two are elite level blockers that have a shot at getting on the depth chart and potentially starting early in their careers. Brentwood Academy senior [player_tooltip player_id='1531280' first='Rance' last='Brown'] isn't far behind the top two as the Alabama native comes in ranked 12th overall. The top offensive guard prospect is [player_tooltip player_id='705894' first='Kaden' last='Buchanan'] (Friendship Chrst.), coming in ranked 17th, who I think is vastly underrated nationally.

Inside our top fifty ranked prospects, the offensive line is represented well with 10 prospects. Those guys would include [player_tooltip player_id='1674006' first='Luke' last='Burger'] (22nd), [player_tooltip player_id='1286232' first='Kyle' last='Nabrotzky'] (25th), Li'[player_tooltip player_id='1654041' first='Marcus' last='Jones'] (43rd), [player_tooltip player_id='378854' first='Chris' last='Campbell'] (44th), [player_tooltip player_id='1158911' first='Isaiah' last='Bryant'] (45th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1154143' first='Ben' last='Hale'] (46th) from CPA. All ten of these offensive linemen can develop into impactful starters on the next level with all of them having All-Conference style potential that may even go beyond college ball.

The depth inside this position goes much deeper beyond the top fifty, which helps the O-line possibly the best position group within our senior class. Some notable names within the “Top 100” includes [player_tooltip player_id='1587368' first='Logan' last='Murray'] (62nd), [player_tooltip player_id='1293357' first='Brayden' last='Washington'] (63rd), [player_tooltip player_id='2156293' first='Teagan' last='Parizek'] (69th), [player_tooltip player_id='1133950' first='Cash' last='Freeman'] (77th), [player_tooltip player_id='1566197' first='Parker' last='Cox'] (81st), [player_tooltip player_id='1673214' first='Jake' last='Baker'] (82nd), [player_tooltip player_id='1857508' first='Titus' last='Tervanen'] (83rd), [player_tooltip player_id='905243' first='Skyler' last='Smith'] (84th), [player_tooltip player_id='1571426' first='Gonni' last='Martin'] (93rd), [player_tooltip player_id='904845' first='Marlee' last='Watts'] (99th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1597028' first='Jaydien' last='Mullins'] (100th) from Munford. That makes “21” total offensive linemen ranked inside the “Top 100”, which speaks toward the talent and depth.

- - - - -

- If any position on the offensive side of the ball contends with the line of scrimmage for being the best, it would be the combination of receivers and tight ends. Your traditional receivers for this year's class are strong at the top with some solid depth that can make the position better by the end of the Fall football year. The top wideout in this cycle looks to be [player_tooltip player_id='378855' first='Kesean' last='Bowman'] (2nd overall) from Brentwood Academy. He is followed by [player_tooltip player_id='1103038' first='Brylan' last='Oduor'] (8th), [player_tooltip player_id='1556594' first='Lawrence' last='Britt'] (10th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1285495' first='Tae' last='Walden, Jr'] inside our top eleven overall prospects. Those four alone make this position strong because of their potential but the depth is solid too.

The tight ends don't have the volume as other positions but it may be the best collection of tight ends we have ever had. The top guy for the tight ends is [player_tooltip player_id='483481' first='Malik' last='Howard'], who is placed inside the top ten at 9th overall. Right behind him is Sevier Co. senior [player_tooltip player_id='1577078' first='Parker' last='Newman'], placing inside the “Top 30” at 27th overall. Both these guys are impact players with a lot of college potential and both are still available on the open market.

Beyond the top two, the tight ends have six players ranked inside our “Top 100” and I think a few others can join them by the end of the year. Coming in behind Howard and Newman are [player_tooltip player_id='1679806' first='Colton' last='Johnson'] (41st), [player_tooltip player_id='402854' first='Judah' last='Lancaster'] (42nd), [player_tooltip player_id='1316743' first='Parker' last='Keenan'] (57th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1103559' first='Sutton' last='Gutting'] (60th) from Riverdale. Two tight ends to watch in the future that could move into the “Top 100” look to be [player_tooltip player_id='1292338' first='Aaron' last='Heatherly'] (101st) from Alcoa and [player_tooltip player_id='1260422' first='Brady' last='Lewis'] (102nd) out of Baylor.

Tennessee Top 300

- - - - -

- The quarterback position is a hard one to judge when it comes to long term potential but it still looks quite strong headed into the 2026 season. We don't have a top ten level prospect this cycle, at least right now but talent is there and we have a few guys that are pinpointed to be eventual starters on the college stage. The top two guys in this class right now are [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] (15th) from Antioch and [player_tooltip player_id='939950' first='Keegan' last='Croucher'] (16th) from Baylor. Just recently, Adams made his commitment to Colorado while Croucher has been committed to Ole Miss for several months now. Another recent commitment, who is also inside our “Top 20” overall prospects is new Iowa commit [player_tooltip player_id='905003' first='Brayden' last='Santibanez'] (19th). This Collierville signal caller might have the best arm talent of anyone in this class and someone who fits the Hawkeyes offense very well.

Photo: Antioch quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'].

The next ranked signal caller comes with [player_tooltip player_id='1142902' first='Cooper' last='Newman'], placing 30th overall. This East Tennessee quarterback is a past state champion that has a bevy of Power Four programs in pursuit, so I would expect a commitment from him sometime in the near future. Kansas St. landed a talented leader behind center recently in [player_tooltip player_id='693877' first='Cameron' last='Kruse']. Ranked 39th overall, this Page passer is one of the better dual threat guys we have in this class that shows upside with his right arm. Just last night, Brentwood Academy senior [player_tooltip player_id='834810' first='Crews' last='Jenkins'] (64th) committed to Ole Miss to give the Rebels two Volunteer State signal callers in this class. Soon we could see more quarterback commitments from [player_tooltip player_id='1286233' first='L.J.' last='Funk'] (59th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1668630' first='Dallas' last='Covington'] (92nd), who are also placed inside our “Top 100” prospects.

- - - - -

- Even though the top overall prospect in this class comes from the running backs, this position group is probably ranked fourth of all positions on the offensive side of the ball. It is solid at the top but the depth is a question mark. I do see some talented ball carriers down the list but plenty of development is needed to push their stocks higher. One guy who doesn't have to worry about anything is [player_tooltip player_id='1210671' first='David' last='Gabriel-Georges'], the top overall prospect from our TN2027 class. The Red Raiders senior is a national guy, who I think could be the best overall player in the country and someone with the chops to contend for the Heisman one day.

Once you get past Gabriel-Georges, you don't see the next ranked running back until [player_tooltip player_id='1103496' first='Asa' last='Barnes'], who comes in at 40th overall. A stock riser many need to know about, who is placed 48th in our rankings is MASE senior [player_tooltip player_id='2149120' first='LeAndrew' last='Branch']. This guy is an explosive runner with great vision and separating speed. Just past him is [player_tooltip player_id='1665478' first='Jean-Pierre' last='Eto'o'], a Canadian native who shares the backfield with our top ranked ball carrier. Eto'o (51st) is a talented runner with great size and low tread on his tires. The running back position may be a little less than desired but it still has nine prospects inside our “Top 100” prospects. Beyond the top four we have [player_tooltip player_id='905235' first='Khamoni' last='Williams'] (58th), [player_tooltip player_id='723428' first='Larry' last='Sanders II'] (76th), [player_tooltip player_id='1567420' first='Damillyan' last='Porter'] (78th), [player_tooltip player_id='933067' first='Terrion' last='Thomas'] (91st) and [player_tooltip player_id='378893' first='Larry' last='Johnson III'] (96th) from Collierville.

- - - - - - - -

Defense

- The top overall defensive prospect inside our TN2027 class comes from [player_tooltip player_id='1527497' first='Jamarkus' last='Pittman'] (3rd) and the defensive line. This Memphis area big man brings a nice combination of athleticism and size to the trenches that should flourish during his time at Ole Miss. The D-line is actually well represented inside the “Top 100” with 10 prospects. You have to move to 32nd overall to find the next D-lineman in [player_tooltip player_id='1815536' first='Jayden' last='Agberodiola'] but I think this is a solid group this year that can improve further if others step forward throughout the coming months.

Other defensive linemen inside our “Top 100” to join Pittman and Agberodiola would be [player_tooltip player_id='1648682' first='James' last='Stewart'] (33rd), [player_tooltip player_id='1675717' first='Dallas' last='Pauldo'] (34th), [player_tooltip player_id='866750' first='Keilan' last='Neal'] (36th), [player_tooltip player_id='1591156' first='Zeke' last='Walkup'] (49th), [player_tooltip player_id='2116601' first='Sinai' last='Dikisongele'] (53rd), [player_tooltip player_id='1590238' first='Ryland' last='Harris'] (85th), [player_tooltip player_id='1703375' first='Braylon' last='Warren'] (86th) and [player_tooltip player_id='902956' first='Justice' last='Pittman'] (97th) from Battle Ground Academy. These ten defensive linemen are legit Power Four, D1 guys that could boost their stocks further with strong senior campaigns.

Staying along the defensive front, the edge guys are an interesting group as it doesn't appear to be too deep but it's talented with room for growth. The top edge guy this cycle is Collierville senior [player_tooltip player_id='1310642' first='Antwan' last='Jackson']. Ranked 4th overall among our senior prospects, Jackson is a high ceiling talent that has major programs in pursuit. We only have five edge prospects inside our “Top 100” with [player_tooltip player_id='1357924' first='Hans' last='Emery Julien'] coming in next at 50th overall. The other three “Top 100” edge guys are [player_tooltip player_id='1693459' first='Jayland' last='Eckford'] (53rd) from J.C. Merry, [player_tooltip player_id='2161216' first='Devin' last='Bertram'] (56th) out of Harriman and [player_tooltip player_id='1580777' first='Kelsey' last='Rose Jr.'] (72nd) from Jackson Christian.

- - - - -

- The linebackers are one position that I think is underrated overall but it also lacks the depth to be considered as one of the better position groups within our TN2027 class. We have ten linebackers placed inside the “Top 100” but once you get to a certain point, it kind of falls off for the linebackers. I do see hope with this position however as there are plenty of tacklers that show potential but need big senior years to push their stocks higher.

This position is strong at the top as we have five guys ranked inside the “Top 21”, led by Vanderbilt commit [player_tooltip player_id='903033' first='Omarii' last='Sanders']. He is followed at 14th overall by fellow SEC commit (Tennessee) in [player_tooltip player_id='1305810' first='J.P.' last='Peace']. Right after those two are [player_tooltip player_id='906615' first='Shelvy' last='Clark'] (18th), [player_tooltip player_id='1585726' first='Kenneth' last='Simon'] (20th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1294979' first='Jarrell' last='Chandler'] at 21st overall, who is a hybrid linebacker that plays defensive back for his Knox. Halls football team. Five others in [player_tooltip player_id='1318538' first='Roman' last='Jennings'] (54th), [player_tooltip player_id='1707489' first='Dax' last='Cole'] (55th), [player_tooltip player_id='1694317' first='Wyatt' last='Wilber'] (61st), [player_tooltip player_id='1666967' first='Akeem' last='Hunt'] (71st) and [player_tooltip player_id='1368155' first='Will' last='Butler'] (80th) from Green Hill round out the linebackers inside the Top 100.

- - - - -

- One position that can contend with the offensive line for the top group in our TN2027 class, it may be the defensive backs. This position continues to get better and better each year, however with our senior crop, it's more about the depth inside the secondary than it is the top end talent. Don't get me wrong, it's talented at the top but not as strong as the past few years. What makes this position strong though is the middle tier where you will find some quality guys that show potential to breakthrough during their time in college.

Our top ranked defensive back for this cycle is [player_tooltip player_id='1162582' first='Jaden' last='Butler'] (13th) from Haywood. Committing last month to Tennessee, Butler is an athletic, ball hawk safety that has all the physical tools to excel on the next level. Just inside the top forty, Westview senior [player_tooltip player_id='1422977' first='Miles' last='Brown'] (29th), [player_tooltip player_id='1605749' first='Jordan' last='Darren Djila'] (35th) from Baylor and Riverdale safety [player_tooltip player_id='378857' first='Hudson' last='Fuqua'] (37th) come in next with all three presenting different abilities and traits to the football field. Brown is a corner prospect while Darren Djila has versatility with upside at nickel while Fuqua is a true safety that can work the box or play in coverage.

The secondary has “14” total defensive backs inside our “Top 100” with a few others just on the outside. This next group all rank in the middle and bottom tier of our “Top 100” but all present upside in the college game. Those defenders would be [player_tooltip player_id='1642438' first='Romel' last='Koon, Jr'] (65th), [player_tooltip player_id='1641243' first='Malik' last='Dean Jr.'] (67th), [player_tooltip player_id='933041' first='Darion' last='Taylor'] (68th), [player_tooltip player_id='2179336' first='Jackson' last='Sensabaugh'] (70th), [player_tooltip player_id='2076919' first='Landan' last='Left'] (75th), [player_tooltip player_id='1687518' first='Bradley' last='Stamper'] (88th), [player_tooltip player_id='2082939' first='Hill' last='Strong'] (89th), [player_tooltip player_id='2105993' first='Troy' last='Porties'] (90th), [player_tooltip player_id='2170536' first='Dallas' last='Stallings'] (94th) and [player_tooltip player_id='1595502' first='K'Saun' last='Barksdale'] (95th) from Gallatin.

Koon, Jr, Taylor, Sensabaugh, Stallings and Barksdale are cornerback prospects while Dean Jr., Stamper and Strong are safeties and Left and Porties are nickel players. I do see versatility in several of these to handle multiple positions, especially Sensabaugh, Barksdale, Left, Porties and Barksdale. One guy to watch here to move up in our next update would be Sensabaugh, a long high motor athletic guy that has a knack for making big plays.

- - - - -

- Looking into the “athletes” position, this year's group is very interesting as it shows multiple players that display upside for either side of the ball and still have time to grow into what position they may be on the college stage. Two guys in particular with [player_tooltip player_id='903798' first='Slim' last='Leavell'] (23rd) and [player_tooltip player_id='1938324' first='Gavin' last='Gregory'] have blasted up the charts during these off-season months to become the top two ways talent inside our TN2027 class. Both these guys have potential to excel at either receiver or defensive back. I am leaning more towards defense for both Leavell and Gregory but I can see where any staff may want to bring them in as receivers.

Beyond the top two, we have three more “athletes” ranked inside our “Top 100” that present upside for either side of the ball. Those three prospects are [player_tooltip player_id='2065483' first='Zaiden' last='Humphrey'] (47th) from Marion Co., [player_tooltip player_id='1693399' first='Jeremy' last='Ramsey'] (87th) from Ravenwood and [player_tooltip player_id='1654041' first='Marcus' last='Jones'] (98th) from Red Bank. All three of these are athletic, fast, playmakers could develop into pass catching receivers or ball hawking defensive backs in the secondary. I also see a lot of value in the return game with all three as well.
