Miles is a 6’0, 190-pound defensive back out of Westview. He is a four-star recruit committed to playing for Kentucky in 2027. Has a quick break, with the ability to come hard downhill to make a good wrap-up tackle. Possesses a great understanding of leverage, giving him the upper hand on many reps against receivers. Miles has good enough ball skills to win reps at the catch point. Another bright spot is that he can bring value to his team as a returner, being an athletic playmaker who makes big plays happen. #1 Westview plays at Lausanne Collegiate Friday night.

As I glanced through all the Mr. Football options for the 3A ranks this year, it was hard not to put Brown in our “top tier” list as the future Kentucky Wildcat should be a featured player in the Fall that contributes on both sides of the ball. Brown is headed to college for defensive back, which I think he will be a lock down cover guy that produces but I can see him becoming the team’s top pass catcher as well and with Simpson at the helm, the Chargers two-way talent might catch a lot of balls. As the team implements new receivers this Fall, Brown could be leaned on early and throughout the season as the most dependable receiver. If he produces big on both sides of the ball, I could see Brown being named a semi-finalist for Mr. Football with a great shot at making it to Nashville for the top three ceremony.

is a blue-chip cornerback prospect with good size, natural athleticism and ball skills.
He is comfortable playing in the half-turn and maintains leverage and positioning even when working down the field, giving him the ability to cover perimeter receivers at every level of the field.
With his good size, he brings a physical element to the game that a lot of corner prospects at this stage tend to avoid. He works to get his hands on the receiver without getting penalized, working through the catch point to make a play on the ball.
He also plays receiver and is productive with those ball skills translating to the defensive side of the ball, creating plays on the ball any chance he can get.
He is a key part of the special teams aspect for his high school.
