He great size and is a very willing and effective tackler, especially now that he has grown into his frame. He has good athleticism and ball skills which allow for him to stay in coverage against receiving threats and this allows for him to be used all over the secondary.

This is a prospect that has great size and athleticism and can impact the secondary positively in a variety of ways.

Jarrell Chandler Jarrell Chandler 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB/DB Knoxville Halls | 2027 State TN has arguably taken the biggest step forward of any safety prospect in the state for the 2027 class, shining on both sides of the ball this season.

He has filled out his lengthy frame some and has become a strong playmaker with great ball skills on each side of the ball. As a defensive back, he can be moved around the secondary, especially working at safety and in the slot, and disrupt plays happening in front of him.

It will be intriguing to watch how he continues his development over the rest of the season.
