Even though Adams may not play on the best 6A team this Fall, he has to stay at the top of the list for Mr. Football after barely missing out on winning the honor last year. The Bears signal caller had a sensational junior year that warranted him winning Mr. Football but the voters thought otherwise. He may have a chip on his shoulder this season to put together another highly productive year and get back to Nashville as a finalist. Currently committed to Colorado, Adams is a cerebral signal caller that can make all throws. It won’t be as easy for Adams after losing several college level receivers but he should have enough talent around him to win games and be considered a candidate for the top individual honor yet again.

, a quarterback for Savages 18U that played outstanding from start to finish, throwing for multiple beautiful touchdown passes over the course of the tournament. I also really liked how Adams could sling the deep touchdown pass, connecting with his receivers deep in the backfield several times over the course of the tournament.

, a quarterback for Savages 18U that made his presence known on Saturday evening. In addition to his ability to scan the backfield and quickly release the ball, Adams did an excellent job of launching the deep ball in crucial moments. Adams was a gamechanger on Saturday and should continue to be a standout as his team competes for a championship tomorrow.

Ever since Adams stepped onto the field as a freshman, he has done nothing but produce at a high level; however, he pushed things further last Fall with a stellar junior campaign. The Bears signal caller torched opposing defenses by throwing for 3,418 yards and 35 touchdowns with only one pick while also rushing for another 855 yards and 13 scores on the ground. Adams had a 71 percent completion percentage as well, displaying outstanding accuracy and timing. His leadership was on point too as Adams led his Bears team to a 10-2 record and a spot in the playoffs. Taking home our 6A player of the year honors was well earned by Adams and a season that certainly boosted his recruiting stock.
