This Mid-Tennessee product could be the biggest stock riser of them all from the TN2027 class and college coaches are noticing. Over the past few weeks, Ntumba has landed some big time offers and interest is continuing to grow. What college staffs are seeing in the Bears senior edge rusher is his athleticism, his quick burst off the line and his closing speed towards the football. The Bears defender could be the fastest edge rusher we have from our in-state senior class and the great thing about Ntumba is that he is still developing with plenty of growth yet to go. He is more suited right now as a pure pass rusher but does show signs on film of edge setting and working against the run. Ntumba does need more time in the weight room and dinner table to add strength and fill out his body but the raw athletic tools are there to one day become an impactful player in college. Once we update the senior rankings, Ntumba will be a “Top 50” player with the possibility of jumping into the “Top 30” overall prospects.

Stats: 13 tcks, 5 TFL & 4 sacks

Ntumba was an absolute force, an animal last week in the Bears 28-26 win over East Nashville where this senior edge rusher produced in a major way, staying in the Eagles backfield all night long. Whether it was stopping the run or chasing down the quarterback, Ntumba did it and did so with athleticism, force and speed. The Eagles offensive line had no answers for this guy. Ntumba pretty much did anything he wanted to on the field last Friday evening. Watching over his game film, Ntumba has vastly improved both his body and game while starting to form into a legitimate and possible Power Four level recruit. I think more games like last Friday will force big time programs to look harder at this guy and what they may find is a hidden gem!
