PRZCJ's Class: My 30 Biggest Steals in the 2026 Class

The time has come for my capstone piece on the 2026 class. A full calendar year of tracking, watching, and gathering information went into this. The idea is simple: build out my own class of 30 prospects to call my shot on as they head to the college ranks. The few rules I've made for myself are down below. Enjoy.   Rules   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Must be players from my coverage territory only, Georgia and Alabama.</li> </ul>   <ul class="wp-block-list"> <li>Can't be industry 4 or 5 stars. Any P4 recruit must be major industry-ranked in the bottom half of their class, respectively. </li> </ul>    P4 schools checked in on Harrison during the offseason headed into his senior year, and that continued into the fall. However, he ended up signing at Kennesaw State. After watching the Owls succeed this past fall with Amari Odom, it is easy to get fired up about what Harrison can do in Kennesaw. He is a lean basketball athlete with some twitch and speed in space. He has a long, elastic release and can generate easy drive on the ball. I am fired up about this fit.     Rajecki picked up major P4 offers headed into his senior year and is still available. The floor on this kid is what catches my eye. He is a traitsy player, particularly his combination of size and short-area quickness, but he is a tough runner who can handle a workload. He played his best ball when it mattered the most, and you are capable of leaning on him in the run game. He is still leggy, so there is still some meat on the bone physically. He was one of the best RBs in Georgia for a few years, and whoever lands him has to be fired up about securing his signature.     Explosive performance after explosive performance made [player_tooltip player_id='1584772' first='Ty' last='Cummings'] one of the biggest risers in the state this fall, regardless of position. P4 teams inquired as his historic season rolled on, but his LOI ultimately landed in Statesboro. Cummings is a tightly wound, explosive back with a sub-10.9 100M time. He possesses the short-area twitch to create his own yards and the breakaway speed to rattle off long runs. Just a massive win for Georgia Southern here.     Kelly popped on my radar this fall, and I became enamored with his skill set. He is a big, strong 6'0 215, but plays with impressive finesse at that size. Both out of the backfield and split out wide, Kelly contributes as a receiver both in space after the catch and as a route runner. He is explosive, relying on his short-area quickness and one-cut running style to quickly get up on second-level defenders and explode through openings. His size and versatility really stick out to me. Underrated addition by Ohio, who infiltrated the deep south for this addition.     I was fired up about Green after his junior season, where he flashed as a DB. As a senior, he exploded as a receiver and is headed to play that spot at Kennesaw State. This tape pops. His combination of size and speed makes him a prime candidate to grow into a go-to threat at the next level. He is a smooth mover, quick off the line, explosive at break points, and maintains his speed through cuts and changes of direction. He does all of that with a big catch radius. It's still shocking he didn't garner much P4 attention, but maybe that gives him a chip on his shoulder.     Smith is headed to play SEC ball at Vandy, but I don't think this signing is getting the love it deserves nationally. He is a big target with long strides. His catch radius is already massive, but his hands and ability to adjust his body to the ball in the air maximize it. Spectacular catches are littered all over his tape, and I expect that flash to translate to the SEC level if he can adjust to the speed. In my opinion, this is a huge pickup for Vandy, reaching in to snag one of the best receivers in Alabama.     I've been tracking Skelton for well over a year now, and when you factor in UAB's seemingly yearly success with sub-6'0 playmakers at receiver, this is an obvious fit. Skelton is an absolute burner with a state championship in the 100M under his belt, PR'ing at 10.56 in the 100M. He is a threat vertically as well, quickly getting up on DBs and overwhelming with fiery feet to create deception. Ball skills and contested catch ability are present here, too. Skelton is simply too fast and has too much juice to be kept off the field for too long.     I have long been a fan of Waller, and to me, he has always been a guy that I just expected to contribute at the college level, especially now that he is at the FCS level. He is a stout, downhill threat as a receiver with good body control, spatial awareness, and the willingness to embrace contact. He should be able to give the QB easy completions, all while battling in-line as a blocker. I think the floor is high here, and I expect him to eventually carve out a role at Samford.     Korchagin started to generate a lot of buzz about this time a year ago, and I was always fully invested. He generated major P4 attention, but is locked in to start his career at South Alabama. Korchagin played C for TCCHS, but at his size and with his athleticism, I think he can play up and down the line. He is light enough on his feet to get across the face of defenders and has effortless play strength at the point of attack. He plays with such a smooth pace, especially for someone with just a few years of football experience under his belt, which is why I am bullish on his upside.     Benjamin is headed to Georgia State, and I think this is one of the quieter, most underrated additions in the state. He carries his listed mass on a long, lean frame. He is quick out of his stance, looks comfortable navigating space, and I like the angles he takes to reach second-level defenders. He is a mean player at the point of attack who is either jabbing defenders off their feet or driving his feet to displace bigger bodies. His pad-level and balance have room to improve, so there is still some tread on the tires here. I like the upside, but the floor is still high too, as long as he continues to play with violence and energy.     Alford is headed to Memphis, making him another Tiger signee to make this list. He is a long, raw athlete who projects best to RT or the interior. He drives his feet at contact, hustles to a spot, has long strides to occupy space, and is manipulative with his hands at the point of attack. What sticks out to me is his sheer violence. When he locks into his assignment, he finishes blocks through the dirt or escorts defenders to the bleachers. If he continues to play mean and adjusts to the speed of the college game, he will be hard to leave off the field.     Jones is a versatile blocker and a quiet addition for Coastal Carolina. He played some tackle for Rome, but I think his playstyle projects best to the interior long term. He is explosive off the snap and packs a lot of pop at contact. You can tell he makes a conceited effort to lean into contact off the snap, setting the tone early. Jones looks like a player who will bring the fight every snap, and his traits are good enough to play and find the field in that conference.     I'm a big fan of this addition for Kennesaw State, and it's because of the floor here. Abdul-Salaam is a long, well-built player with the play strength and hand fighting skills at the point of attack to control the point and win. His motor runs hot, too, working hard to free himself if he can't win immediately. At this level of ball, I would focus on kids with a high floor and someone that can be trusted to play competitive ball when in the game, and that's exactly what I think Abdul-Salaam will do, even if he doesn't light up the stat sheet.     Dailey was a late bloomer as a prospect in Georgia, and is still a sneaky good addition for Georgia State out of this 2026 class. Really interesting skillset on this kid, playing both ways as a ball carrier and a DE. He will major in defense in college, but I think it's important to make note of what he can do with the ball in his hands. He is an obvious short-yardage thumper at 260 pounds, but he had a little bit of flash in space, too. That translated defensively in the form of closing speed and pursuit skills. Similar to Abdul-Salaam, it's hard to see a world where Dailey can't at least be trusted to hold his own.     [player_tooltip player_id='212200' first='Tristan' last='Lyles'] has been one of the most productive players in Alabama over the entire course of his high school career, regardless of position. I thought Lyles would end up P4 out of HS, making this pickup by Jacksonville State a massive steal. He is a smaller edge rusher, but you can't argue against his ability to win. First step explosiveness, shoulder shimmy, bend, dips, hand fighting, power, Lyles has the most complete bag of pass rushing juice in Alabama, and that should be a compensator for his size. I am expecting his production to translate to the next level.     Harvey generated major P4 attention throughout his recruiting process, so Memphis has to be hyped up about this addition. Harvey is explosive off the snap and consistently the first hat to penetrate. Might not be the most bendy player, but is agile and explosive enough to spin off blocks or generate bolts of energy to shed. He is fast enough to chase the ball in space once he is free of blockers. He has some room to bulk up and add more horsepower in his lower body. Long-term, I see Harvey as an edge setter who can provide some pop as a pass rusher when given a shot.     Speakman was a late pickup in Georgia Tech's 2026 class, but has the skillset to grow into one of their best pickups on the defensive front. His elite, mountain-moving play strength flashes on each side of the ball, and on special teams in FG block. He generates easy push in the face of QBs, but he is quick on his feet and has some juice at the point of attack. He isn't just strong; he is also active, and I think he clearly has the combination of strength and juice to contribute in the ACC, especially as an interior disruptor.     Simmons went under the radar for so long that it was almost shocking to track. In Tennessee's 2026 class, this guy has an outstanding chance to outplay his rankings and recruiting status. Simmons is an absolute gamewrecker, manhandling blockers at the point of attack and creating chaos at the face and feet of QBs. His combination of size, elite play strength, and point of attack wreckage should allow him to find the field at the next level, even in the SEC.     I am a really big fan of this pickup for North Alabama. This isn't someone who generated a lot of buzz nationally, but he has tape that I keep going back to. Spends most time lined up at 0 and 2 tech, but has the versatility to move all across the line. This guy gets after it. He is quick off the line, makes great use of his hands to shed at the point of attack, and has the speed/bend profile to chase the QB. His motor runs hot, frequently flagging the football down the field and making tackles in space. His combination of athleticism and POA juice makes it easy for him to shed, pull himself into the backfield, and be hard to reach in the run game. Love this pickup.     There's talent littered all over the Kell defense, but Domanik's consistent force and presence in the middle might be the most impactful. I have been a fan of this kid for going on 2 years now, and believe he has a skill set that translates. Domanik is a true neckroll style LB with high instincts and the ability to thump. He is a strong player who finds creative ways to avoid blockers and is always one of the hats to the football. At a position that requires instincts and physicality, Domanik has both of those. I like the floor here.     Spratling is an athletic, versatile player with an impressive multi-sport background that consists of a state championship in discus and a PR of 174' 00''. Spratling is a strong player at the point of attack with some pass-rush juice. He is a patient, effective pursuer of the football and does a great job of mirroring in space. Effortless play strength flashes all over tape. He can stun blockers and RBs with his punch, and he is capable of lifting ball carriers off the ground. He has room to continue developing physically. Well-rounded player with evidenced athleticism.     Fairchild generated major P4 recruiting buzz throughout his process, making him another notable player to sign G6 out of HS. Up to 6'1 230 now, Fairchild is an impressive size/speed specimen. He has the play strength and pop in his pads to meet and stall RBs in the gaps, as well as the ability to hold his own against blockers. He is light on his feet, explosive, and can run. It's his blend of finesse and power that really sticks out to me. At the level of ball he is headed to, I find it hard to believe he will be left off the field for too long.     Roy, who is headed all the way up to Toledo, is an absolute gamer and a sneaky good addition out of South GA for the Rockets. He is on the smaller side for an LB, hovering around 6'1 200. However, he is built sturdy into his frame and plays hard to compensate. He is instinctual, doesn't drop his eyes, plays with good gap integrity, and has the suddenness to find a gear and chase the ball. I love the approach to the football, the instincts, and the athlete. I think there's a good chance this guy really pops at the next level.     Collier has been a consistent favorite of mine for a few years now. His recruitment took a couple of twists and turns, but he ultimately sent his LOI to Alabama State. Collier is a long, lean player with a lot of room to add weight and develop physically. This kid can run. He will help keep the edges of the defense sealed, pull himself into the backfield, and rally in space. He might need a little seasoning, but the upside is there, and playing at the FCS level makes me more confident that upside will hit.     I wanted to get some true corners on here, and that is a perfect way to describe Guerra. His size and athletic traits certainly translate to the level of competition he will line up against at Old Dominion. It's his physicality that sticks out to me, and makes me most bullish on his upside. At the line, throughout the route, and at the catch point, he remains physical and is hard to separate from. He can make life tough on receivers, and at the very least, I think he will be a functional corner at the FBS level.     Holmes is a dynamic two-way player, but will settle down at DB long-term for Kennesaw State. Holmes is a truly impressive playmaker with the ball in his hands, which will give him special teams value. His short-area quickness, explosiveness, and general athleticism are on full display when rattling off explosive runs. Even with a lack of prototype size, I am confident this guy will be hard to separate against, and his ball production on both sides of the ball really sticks out to me.     There was a lot of deliberation back and forth on this spot, but I ultimately decided to go with Lester, who is headed to Marshall. I just love how active he is. He rallies hard after the football, masterfully evades blocks, and is an energetic tackler. Active is the best word to describe Lester. I imagine he will play a nickel type role for Marshall, and I think he could really produce there closer to the ball. I have said before that Lester just seems like a guy who will produce no matter where he goes, and I won't back off on that now.     Tulane quietly snuck into Georgia to land Moton, someone who generated P4 attention throughout the process. This is a true traits eval, all things considered. His height, length, fluidity, and upside set the basis of intrigue here. He is a two-way player, and flashes impressive ball skills on both sides. Not much to overthink here, Moton has range, ball skills, and does it on a rare-trait frame. Plenty of tread left on the tires here, a lot to tap into here for Tulane.     Ingram was one of the more well-rounded S prospects in Georgia this fall, and is another player that I identified with a high floor. The consistent ball production is impressive here, matching well at the top of routes and giving himself a chance to undercut and make a play on the ball. An explosive, sudden athlete who is quick to fill downhill and close space. He is fairly stout and greets ball carriers with some pop as well. Well-rounded player, and I think he contributes at FIU.     Outlaw, headed to Georgia Tech, has long been one of my favorite players in the 2026 class and was an obvious pick to make this list. He will play a hybrid type position on defense for Tech, where his run and chase skills should be put on full display. He runs at a major P4 level, but it's his speed, along with his play strength and pop at the point of attack, that sticks out to me. I've been tracking him closely for the last few years, and that will continue well into his college years.
