Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Collier has been a consistent favorite of mine for a few years now. His recruitment took a couple of twists and turns, but he ultimately sent his LOI to Alabama State. Collier is a long, lean player with a lot of room to add weight and develop physically. This kid can run. He will help keep the edges of the defense sealed, pull himself into the backfield, and rally in space. He might need a little seasoning, but the upside is there, and playing at the FCS level makes me more confident that upside will hit.

A versatile linebacker south of Atlanta who can play on the edge or in the middle of the field. Collier brings a lengthy frame, impressive burst, and flashed easy big-play ability last fall as a junior. He wasn’t able to play a ton, but when he was in there, but showed D1-caliber talent. He’s extremely disruptive and showcased the ability to both stop the run and crate havoc on the quarterback. He’s now ranked as the No. 436 overall prospect in the state according to Prep Redzone.

A former Cincinnati commitment who recently opened up his recruitment, Collier is a metro-Atlanta linebacker who saw new offers come his way from Southern Miss and UAB this week. He’s a smart, high intensity defender who hits hard and does a great job of finding his way to the ball-carrier. He’s one of the top returning defenders in the area and is likely in store for a big senior season for the Cardinals in 2025.
