Slaton is a long wideout on the perimeter with an impressive catch radius who can stretch the field vertically. Not only can he take the top off of the defense and win contested catches downfield, but he is an excellent short to intermediate route runner as well. He will be a fun player to watch over the next two seasons, and I wouldn’t be surprised if more FBS programs extend offers after receiving his first FBS offer from GA State.

Jadarius Slaton Jadarius Slaton 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR Jonesboro | 2028 State GA is a complete wide out with excellent size and ability. Slaton has an all-around style of play, and he plays the game the right way with a great deal of positive impact on his team’s success each game. Slaton is a playmaker that is a go-to type of player and any quarterback would love to have a guy like Slaton, a big year for him in 2026!

This actually is not my first look at Slaton, but I still thought he was worth a mention and another look here. There’s a lot to like here when you consider the flashes. He is a tall, lean outside threat at receiver with some giddy up down the field. His strides are hard to match, but he has a good top gear as well. He is capable of tracking and reeling the ball in through traffic. He isn’t just big, though, which is what intrigues me here. His ability to threaten the field vertically helps him snap back to the QB and work over the middle of the field. I wouldn’t call him a YAC guy, but he has the speed to make things happen in space. Slaton is a splashy player with rare traits and someone to monitor.

South of Atlanta is where you’ll find a fast-rising wideout who has no problem making a big catch over defenders. He didn’t light up the stat sheet last year as he was still emerging as a sophomore, but when the ball did come his way, Slaton knew how to make a play on it. He has a long, lengthy frame at 6-foot-4 180-pounds with natural ball skills. If he continues to perfect his craft while adding more muscle over the next six months, Slaton has a chance to have a breakout junior season with the potential to see major Power Four offers come his way. His talent and potential is easy too see, so look for him to see a new ranking in the next 2028 Prep Redzone update.
