Harvey generated major P4 attention throughout his recruiting process, so Memphis has to be hyped up about this addition. Harvey is explosive off the snap and consistently the first hat to penetrate. Might not be the most bendy player, but is agile and explosive enough to spin off blocks or generate bolts of energy to shed. He is fast enough to chase the ball in space once he is free of blockers. He has some room to bulk up and add more horsepower in his lower body. Long-term, I see Harvey as an edge setter who can provide some pop as a pass rusher when given a shot.

The 6’3 230 Edge rusher was one of our highest Stock Risers in our latest Prep Redzone rankings. Harvey has really added some good weight over the last 2 seasons without losing any of his quickness. A hard hitting, physical kid on the field that has the speed to chase sideline to sideline. He has some ups on the basketball court and is a rebound machine. Harvey saw his recruiting take off during the last in person cycle with numerous offers including West Virginia, Pitt and Georgia Tech. Athletic, high motor Edge with good upside at the P4 level.
