Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Ingram was one of the more well-rounded S prospects in Georgia this fall, and is another player that I identified with a high floor. The consistent ball production is impressive here, matching well at the top of routes and giving himself a chance to undercut and make a play on the ball. An explosive, sudden athlete who is quick to fill downhill and close space. He is fairly stout and greets ball carriers with some pop as well. Well-rounded player, and I think he contributes at FIU.

I watched McEachern play Kell in the spring game, and I walked away extremely impressed with Kiyante Ingram Kiyante Ingram 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB McEachern | 2026 State GA at DB. I love his size, coming in around 6’0 185, and well-built into that frame. He is both patient and aggressive coming downhill, whether he is playing the ball or rallying as a tackler. He is still nationally underrated and someone I believe should get a crack at the D1 level, where he can contribute pretty quickly.

A playmaking safety who can also be a weapon in the return game, Ingram is an above-average athlete who covers a lot of ground in the secondary and knows how to secure the football in coverage. He shows good instincts and is one of the better tacklers on the roster. He can make a big tackle in the open field and runs well at 5-foot-11 175-pounds. He ended his junior season with 53 tackles, one sack and two INTs. He’s now ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 64 defensive back in the state for the 2026 class.

A versatile defensive back who thrives at the safety position, Ingram is an impressive Cobb County defender who is starting to see his recruitment pick up. He added an offer from Wofford this week and it likely won’t be his last. He brings above-average speed and athleticism and does a great job of reading the play and reacting against the run. He takes good angles to the ball-carrier and is one of the better tacklers across the McEachern defense. He’s one to keep an eye on this fall in his final season.

Kiyante Ingram Kiyante Ingram 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB McEachern | 2026 State GA is a productive tackler who should stick at S long-term. He does a good job of settling down in an alley and attacking the trunk of ball carriers. As a smaller defender, he exhibits good awareness by going low to avoid blockers and upend ball carriers. He rallies hard to the football and takes good angles to the outside. He is better as a tackler than he is in coverage right now, but he still breaks hard on the ball and will strike receivers at the catch point. Ingram is a steady DB prospect who can tackle. He holds FBS offers and is due for a productive fall.
