A gifted 2029 wide receiver at McEachern and one of the top overall prospects across the South in the 2029 class, Shockley is a dominate pass-catcher with big-time size and playmaking ability at 6-foot-3 185-pounds. The freshman hauled in 33 passes for 572 yards and nine touchdowns in year one, showing everyone in the state why he’s ranked as the No. 7 overall prospect in his class. He holds a giant offer list, and now the sure-handed receiver holds one from the national champion Indiana Hoosiers. Look for Shockley to see the ball come his way early and often next season.

One of the very best overall prospects in Georgia for the 2029 class, Shockley was a major weapon as a pass-catcher last season and did it as a freshman for one of the more talented teams across the state. The speedy freshman brings really good size at 6-foot-3 185-pounds and was one of the state’s most productive receivers last year in the 2029 class. In just his first season, Shockley caught 33 passes for over 600 yards and 10 touchdowns. He already holds a respectable offer list and added a new SEC offer this week from the Florida Gators. Shockley is currently ranked as the No. 1 ATH in the 2029 class.

Shockley has emerged as an early candidate to end up as the top 2029 receiver prospect in Georgia, and he is currently the leading receiver for McEachern. Here is a recent write up on Shockley from me:
“Shockley is proving himself as one of the premier 2029 prospects in Georgia through his first two HS games. Shockley comes in around 6’2 185 with a lot of body to grow into. Long arms, big paws, and a physical outmatch on the outside. He is still growing into himself as an athlete and refining as a mover, but his big frame already causes DBs discomfort, which should be a consistent trend throughout the course of his career.”

An athletic pass-catcher with size, length, and sure hands, Shockley is a fantastic overall athlete who has a chance to make plays on both sides of the ball if given a chance to do so. He brings impressive size at 6-foot-3 185-pounds with quick feet and the ability to change directions. Whether he plays wide receiver or cornerback, Shockley is going to be a weapon. He already looks like a promising prospect, and even before playing a snap of high school football, the future McEachern standout has earned offers from Michigan, Nebraska, South Florida, UCONN, Tulsa, Florida Atlantic, among others. He’s now ranked as the No. 3 overall prospect in the state for the 2029 class.
