The North Carolina commit gets it done with a very strong arm with accuracy in all areas of the football field. It helps to play in a QB-friendly system coached by Chad Grier, one of the Charlotte Area's best head coaches. Zaid has a lot of talented targets to get the football to, and in Year 2 of him being the lead guy at one of the state's best programs, expect him to put up even bigger and better numbers across the board.

The #2 selection has several Division 1 college football offers and has a lot of excellent physical traits about him. When given time in the pocket, Jackson can slice up a defense with his arm all over the football field. Jackson has really improved his dual-threat ability and can also make throws outside of the pocket with accuracy. Jackson will look to try and get the Panthers deeper into the state playoffs next season with some talented targets at receiver to get the football to.

The state championship signal caller is ranked #3 on the list. Jamouri showed exponential improvement throughout the season, and his command and decision-making in the Lions' spread offense really shone the brightest in the state playoffs. If Jamouri was taller, he would have offers from all over the southeast. As it stands, Johnson C. Smith has offered him and others will come with a strong start to the season next year. Like the first two quarterbacks, Jamouri has multiple talented targets to get the football to.

#4 on the list is probably a bit of a future projection, but Ethan showed some good things on film when he got some time on Friday Nights. I've seen Ethan live as well, and his physical traits and fundamentals are in a good place to continue to build upon. Also, Hough has developed 4 straight college-level quarterbacks out of their program, so when you have talent like Ethan with good coaching, it is a pretty safe bet that this young man is going to see success. Ethan has a couple of early Division 1 college football offers as well.

Chance did a lot of good things this past season, including making some big-time throws to win multiple close games in the 4th quarter. Chance had high-level production statistically, and unlike these other quarterbacks, he did not have a ton of targets to distribute the football to in the Trojans' offense. I like how Chance bounces back from mistakes he makes and he is driven to be a good quarterback. In his senior season, I am excited to see how he continues to improve.

Honorable Mentions

[player_tooltip player_id='915835' first='Jared' last='Street'] - Independence - Transferring from West Cabarrus, Jared I think will be in a much more quarterback-friendly system with some talented guys on the outside to get the football too. Jared has very good fundamentals and multiple early offers under his belt - I am expecting him to have a big-time year this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1308876' first='Troy' last='Logan'] - Charlotte Latin - Troy had an excellent season in leading Charlotte Latin to their best overall start in a very long time, winning their first 8 games. Taking the next step and competing against the best private school teams in Charlotte in Providence Day and Charlotte Christian will go a long way in cementing Troy as a major quarterback in Charlotte.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671857' first='Addison' last='Rowland'] - Palisades - Addison as a dual-threat player led third-year Palisades to the second round of the playoffs and a conference championship. Expanding and rounding out his overall game should show another trip to the postseason for the Pumas.

[player_tooltip player_id='892288' first='Perry' last='Justice'] - Mallard Creek - Perry became known for leading the Mavericks to a huge win in Ohio against a state power in the non-conference portion of the season. Perry was part of a three-quarterback rotation, and with two of those options graduating, Perry figures to become the full-time starter for the Mavericks as they reload after losing over 40 seniors in their program.

[player_tooltip player_id='1616143' first='Ryan' last='Rizzuti'] - Myers Park - Entering on varsity in the middle of the season, Ryan did an excellent job as a freshman in keeping the Myers Park offense functional and afloat. Ryan put some good plays on film, and he will have a couple of talented players on the outside to get the football to. He is a name to watch, going into his sophomore season.
