Even though Debe didn’t account for the Panthers’ only touchdown on the evening, he looked strong in throwing the ball on time in some tight spaces to his receivers. Jackson also showed his scrambling ability in keeping plays alive when receivers were not open downfield, and also picked up some valuable rushing yards off of those scramble situations.

The #2 selection has several Division 1 college football offers and has a lot of excellent physical traits about him. When given time in the pocket, Jackson can slice up a defense with his arm all over the football field. Jackson has really improved his dual-threat ability and can also make throws outside of the pocket with accuracy. Jackson will look to try and get the Panthers deeper into the state playoffs next season with some talented targets at receiver to get the football to.

For my Junior Bowl team, Jackson Debe Jackson Debe 6'3" | 185 lbs | QB Providence | 2026 NC has the natural ability I’m looking for at QB – a strong armed, smart, poised leader who can move out of the pocket and make throws down the football field. He has several Division 1 offers and is a player who I think has a bright future ahead of him next season and beyond.

Jackson did all he could in this one to try and get the Panthers going. The Mooresville defense was after him all night long, and he was constantly scrambling to try and make plays. When Jackson had time, he had a good connection with the aforementioned Keland Shelton, and he was able to find Otavio Oliveria and Siriman Conde, but unfortunately it just didn’t happen consistently. Jackson definitely showed that he’s more than a pocket passer with his scrambling ability.

Debe had an uncharacteristically rocky start to the year against Ardrey Kell, but the film from that game told the story of an offense just being a step or two off. Debe really got it going in Week 3, completing 11 of 12 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns. He’s a guy we’ve always been very impressed with as we’re generally higher on him than the national media seems to be.
