is a strong wide receiver who flourishes on the perimeter. Lannan quickly gets vertical with the ball in his hands, runs through contact and stays on his feet in space. Good at getting into the flat and catching while maintaining both feet in bounds. While not exceptionally quick, he has a good frame and prototypical size at 6-foot-2 for the position.
Lannan continues to check a lot of boxes. He’s physically impressive with a strong frame and moves well for his size. He runs sharp inside routes and has a knack for creating space. With his hands and size, he looks like a true X receiver but some schools may even see long-term potential as a pass-catching tight end. Either way, he’s a reliable target who knows how to get open and win his matchup.
Lannan is an impressive 6’2″ freshman who’s already standing out for more than just his size. He plays with an edge and doesn’t shy away from contact. He’s physical, confident, and has already taken on a bit of a leadership role, which doesn’t happen often at that age. He’s good down the field and understands how to use his frame to his advantage. He checks a lot of boxes with his build and mindset. If he keeps trending the way he is, don’t be surprised if his name starts popping up more often.
