Luke did an excellent job of stepping into the starting role in the middle of last season and helping lead the Panthers to the 2nd round of the state playoffs. Providence has a lot of talent returning in some key positions, so they could go even deeper in the playoffs next season if things fall right for them. Luke has some really strong fundamentals and has more arm strength than you believe at first glance. I’m excited to see what he does with a full season in front of him.

Luke started this season as a talented backup quarterback, but a few games into the year, he was placed in as the permanent starter, and he showed some impressive stuff, helping lead Providence to a conference championship and a first-round victory over their big rivals. Luke is smart with the football and has a nice arm, stronger than you would assume at first glance. I really like his ball placement, and his teammates love playing for him – that’s the biggest intangible a quarterback can have in my opinion. I’m excited to see what he does coming into his senior year, and he’s more than deserving of consideration on this 704 Junior Bowl team.

The ball jumps out of Meador’s hand like you’d expect from a guy who’s 6-foot-5 and not 6-flat. In his first year as a starter, he earned All-Conference honors while throwing for 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns. He has some of the better footwork in the state, and his mechanics are refined for someone his age. He’s a guy I’m looking forward to scouting more in the offseason.
