Expert Analysis

Otavio is a special talent with his speed out of the slot receiver position for the Panthers. He is coming off of an injury, but I still believe he’s got the ability to be #4 in our list here. As I’ve said recently, the Panthers have a lot of skill talent returning, and Otavio will have a senior quarterback getting him the football early and often next season. I think he’s got a great case to win a comeback player of the year award with the volume he could put up in this offense next season.

Otavio had a tough junior year dealing with injury early on in the season, but his talent is undeniable with what he put on tape in his previous two years. Otavio is still receiving college interest and I expect he’ll be back dominating in the slot and putting up good numbers again this upcoming season. He has excellent quickness and runs good routes with great speed in the open field. He should help bring some nice balance within the Panthers offense.

Oliveira missed most of the 2025 season with an injury, which can make him a bit of a forgotten man in this receiver class. That being said, when healthy, he’s quite the talent. A shifty slot receiver who can win off the line, he’s an excellent route-runner to all fields. He can get behind the defense or shake defenders at the top of routes over the middle. We’re excited to see him back on the field soon.

The speedy slot receiver for the Panthers continues to get a lot of love from the area college programs, and this year could be the biggest for Otavio yet. Otavio has been all-conference the last two years, and he was voted his team’s offensive player of the year last season. If you’re looking for a playmaker to follow at this jamboree, Otavio is a safe bet for sure.

A possession receiver with decent size, Oliveira operates primarily out of the slot and has a great feel for finding space in the middle of the field. He has great body control and good power after the catch, giving him the ability to break initial tackles and pick up extra yards immediately after the catch. I’d like to try to scout him in person, as I’m not sure some of his route-running nuance comes through on film and I’d love to see what he can do in that aspect of his game.

Once again, this ranking here came down to production. Otavio has been the leading receiver for the Panthers for the last two seasons – this past season he had 54 catches for nearly 700 yards and 6 touchdowns on the season. Otavio does a lot of his damage out of the slot, and he is an extremely quick and fast receiver. He can win against safeties and linebackers in the middle of the field easily, and knows how to read and navigate zone coverages well. Otavio is also a down field threat in the seam, and the Panthers are creative in creating some downfield shots for him. From a recruiting perspective, Otavio has a few offers from Group of 5 schools – I think if he has a strong camp season, he should jump on to some Power 4 radars for offers for sure.
