An intriguing lefty gun-slinger, Rizzuti got some run on varsity last season, throwing for just over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns. The tools are all there and the experience he got as a freshman should speed up his development. He rarely runs, but has the speed to be a true dual-threat and it’s something I think we could see more often from him going forward.

Stepping in for an injured talented senior player, Ryan showed why he is one of the most talented young quarterbacks in the state of North Carolina. In limited action (7 games) Ryan threw for nearly 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season against some good competition in Charlotte. Looking at the film, Ryan really does a good job of getting the ball out on time in his drops. Ryan also can make throws to all levels of the field with confidence – he has been coached very well for such a young prospect. It will be fun to see him continue to develop and grow over the next couple of years.
