Troy played his way into the Top 5 this season, leading Charlotte Latin to a strong season and a home 1st round playoff game. I talked to him in the preseason last year, and he’s a great young man and a leader you want for your program. As a player, I like his poise in the pocket and his decision-making with the football in his hands. Going into his senior year, I am sure Latin will really give him the reins to put up some big numbers once again in their offense.

Troy had a nice season for Latin, guiding them to a 7-0 start and a home playoff game in the 1st round, something that Latin hasn’t experienced in a few years. Throwing for nearly 2000 yards and 23 touchdowns, production was not an issue for Troy at all. He’s gotten better every year as a starting quarterback, and it’s no coincidence the Hawks have had a nice turnaround as a team with him as their starter. I’m excited to see what he does to follow this strong year up for his upcoming senior year.

I love Logan’s throwing motion, a modern flick that looks like a lot of the new compact motions you see from guys who grew up playing baseball. It allows him to generate a ton of velocity with little effort for a guy on the smaller side. He’s a strong decision maker who has some athleticism, but he prefers to stand and deliver from the pocket.

Troy had an excellent season in leading Charlotte Latin to one of their best seasons in many years with an 8-3 overall record. Troy had a big hand in their success, as he threw for 2385 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for 3 more on top of that. Troy was named as an All-Conference player in probably the best private school league in the state of North Carolina. Troy’s accuracy and arm strength were very impressive on film, and his leadership in leading Charlotte Latin to an 8-0 start to the season was great to see. I’m excited to see how he and this program attempt to take the next step in competing against the best private schools in the state.

Logan is off to an excellent start with Charlotte Latin, running the offense well and putting up some excellent numbers. After averaging under 100 yards a game as a freshman, Logan has thrown for over 250 a game as a sophomore. He’s done a great job of surveying the field and delivering to his open receivers. A 9-to-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio is evidence of his good decision-making.
