I saw a ton of different pass catchers of all different levels in 2024 and came away impressed with a number of them! Getting a full season outside was huge for him and his development, and it definitely helped the team. Corey is a strong and athletic body who can absolutely burn defenders with great route running and blazing speed. Corey spent a lot of the season torturing DBs with his quick cuts, great hands and ability to run after the catch. Sadler is easily one of the most impressive all around athletes I got a chance to see in 2024 and I'm looking forward to seeing how he can improve for another great season in 2025.

I've said it time and time again, this was one of the most improved receivers I scouted this season. He improved in all facets of his game. His route running was much better, his hands were improved, his speed was up and his ability to go up and high point the ball was stellar. Everything he is about screams hard worker. When I got to see him against Mason, he absolutely went off, showing a little bit of everything in a beatdown of the defending D3 finalist. Grand Valley is getting a stud!

Micah had one of the best games of any receiver we got to see this season. Against Muskegon, he was a terror both at receiver and in the defensive secondary. Micah was running clean short routes and getting open and was able to burn DBs over the top for some deep shots. He's a very well rounded receiver with a ton of upside. He currently holds a few offers, and whoever he ends up with is getting a little bit of a hidden gem amongst a very crowded WR class!

Conner certainly didn't have his best game when we got to see him, but you could see the flashes of brilliance we have come to expect from Conner. He's a physical receiver with good size and very sticky hands. He didn't just do it with the ball, as he was also a selfless blocker who stays engaged until the whistle. He has all of the potential makings of a star in the GLIAC, and he currently sits with a GVSU offer. I'll be really excited to see what he can do at the next level with his current skillset.

Damon is a reliable receiver with a super high ceiling. He's super athletic and rangy and can get to any football thrown his way. The way he is able to create separation and give his QB an open target on any route is super impressive. He was great on both sides of the ball when I got to see him, and I think he projects really nicely to the next level. I'm very glad I got to scout him in person, and GVSU gets an A+ from me for snagging him over some of the D1 schools that had offered him as well.

Tre continues to show time and time again against high level competition just why he is a super high D1 target. The P4 schools are lining up due to his great athleticism, great catch radius and ability to run every route on the tree with great accuracy and attention to detail. It's very rare to see an underclassman be this polished in all levels of his game, but that's exactly what Britton brings to the table. When I saw him against Saline this season, he really shined through and was an incredibly reliable receiver who always found ways to give his QB an open target. He's going to shine over and over for the next couple of seasons!

I got to see Joey twice this season, and he was one of my favorite receivers to watch. He's a consistent deep threat who can run under anything you throw deep down the field. I watched him time after time zig zag his way through the secondary and burn DBs on his way to another deep touchdown catch. He has good size, long limbs and an understanding of how to always keep leverage against defenders. He also was willing and able to block to spring other ball carriers for big runs! Joey is a selfless kid who has been nothing but great every time I chatted with him. He has major upside for the next level and I am excited to see what he does!

I've always viewed BJ as a valuable DB who really translates to the next level, but I was really impressed when I got to see him in the semifinals at just how good he was as an offensive weapon. He has good footwork off the line, and great acceleration that makes him hard to cover. When the ball is thrown his way, he can go get it over most defenders. His mixture of physicality, speed and sticky hands makes him one of the better all around receivers in the state. It will be interesting to see where he ends up at the next level, but someone is getting a great competitor!

I've talked about Max a number of times, but it's for good reason! He is just flat out an overall athlete. He shines just as bright defensively as he does offensively. At receiver, his ability to line up anywhere and be a mismatch is something you just don't see often. If he lines up outside the numbers, he's an immediate threat to take you deep and score over top, or he can line up inside or off the line of scrimmage and take short slants, curls and hooks for first downs consistently. On top of all of that, he can take sweeps and pitches and beat you with speed outside. There aren't many things he can't do! He's also a super respectful kid that you'd love to have in your program, and CMU gets that honor! I predict Max will thrive at any role they have for him in Mt. Pleasant.

Xavier took the state by storm in the D6 state title game. Despite the loss, he was consistently beating defenders and hurting the defense deep. I took note of his physical play and ability to run a great variety of routes. He's also a very good blocker and was instrumental in their outside run game. Someone is going to get a really good player that is kind of going underrated right now. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on Xavier!

Braden had another great season to wrap up his high school career. This unique prospect has the potential to be a star at the next level. He can take sweeps, he can beat man coverage, he can find soft spots in the zone. Whatever you need, Braden has it in his bag! In the state title game, he was a great mismatch maker and served as a phenomenal changeup to his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1298763' first='Xavier' last='Luea'] to help the LC passing attack. He has D2 written all over him and I will be looking forward to seeing who scoops him up. They'll be getting a hidden gem in my opinion!

I saw a ton of different pass catchers of all different levels in 2024 and came away impressed with a number of them! Below are some of the best ones I got a chance to see this season.
