It's time to check out some quarterbacks! We either haven't evaluated these guys recently or at all, and it's time to see what kinds of jumps they have made heading into their Junior season. Below are some quick hitting notes about some intriguing prospects.

Penn is a really solid dual threat that put a lot of good stuff on tape in 2025. He reads and reacts quickly and can tuck and run when things break down, and his vision and athleticism allow hm to turn them into explosive plays. It seems like his offensive line struggled, so a lot of his highlights are throwing off balance under duress or having to scramble around to find an opening. There aren't many throws from a clean pocket so his mechanics are inconsistent on film, but I would love to see it in person soon. Right now he's looking like he could develop into a solid D2 or high-end D3 prospect.

We have talked about [player_tooltip player_id='1527461' first='Treyson' last='Snip'] for quite some time, and I think the graduates ahead of him will allow him to take over at the helm. His biggest strength is in the pocket, but he does have some film showcasing his ability to move around, buy time and tuck and run from time to time. He is excellent at throwing on the run and across his body when the situation calls for it. He displays good arm strength on some tight window throws where he is forced to fire it in. On deep balls, he has good touch and can be very accurate with where he places the ball. All in all, I think Snip will be a really good starting QB for a Hudsonville program that I feel confident will continue to develop him nicely.

I think Keller might be under the radar to some, but I am a believer in his talent. First off, I think Bedford is projecting to excel in an RPO system at the next level. He makes quick reads and gets the ball out with a quick trigger, and on designed QB runs, he's a twitchy athlete that can make guys miss and pick up big chunk plays. He has some good arm strength and doesn't struggle with accuracy a bit. Another offseason of work could really kick off his recruitment in a big way.

The lefty out of Liggett put together a really good season in 2025. While watching his film, what stands out to me first and foremost is his poise. He always looks cool and confident in the pocket regardless of pressure. He seems to see the defense well, makes quick decisions and delivers the ball with confidence. His throwing motion is fluid and concise. I am really excited to see how he can continue to develop his arm strength and take that next step in his game.

I always think of New Lothrop as a run-first team, but Karson and his deep ball ability brings a whole new aspect to this offense. His tape starts off with some really high level throws. Drops in a basket from deep, over the shoulder throws that lead his guy into the end zone, and throwing it where only his receiver can make a play on it. His mechanics are maybe a little unorthodox, but it is consistent, which is what really matters. When the play breaks down, he can take off and really do some damage with chunk plays. I really love his tape and I have to believe he could be a real problem in 2026. Hopefully I can check him out at a camp or 2 this spring!

Luke is another lefty that has a nice consistent throwing motion, and a pretty solid arm at that. His film shows quite a few deep balls placed nicely with some touch. A few examples of being able to layer the ball between levels of the defense with precision. He also shows off some wheels, being able to take off and get up field in a hurry. It looks like he is starting to fill out well and has an athletic but solid build. I am really looking forward to seeing how he continues to develop physically, as well as building up that football IQ.
