Keller walked off the bus and got straight to work. Swan Valleys bus had some issues which caused them to be a little late but Keller did not let that Deter him from getting the vikings offense going upon arrival. Keller showed he was capable of making all the throws. He stood in the pocket and delivered strikes all over the field. Keller was able to show good zip on out routes and a big arm delivering big plays down the field. I was also pleasantly surprised on how well Keller moved the pocket and deliver accurate throws while on the run. Keller showed he is the real deal and based on Wednesday he is set to torch defenses across the league.
Keller comes into this season with my full attention. As I have discussed before, his skillset projects perfectly into an RPO-based offense where his quick processing and trigger can really shine. He understands what he is seeing and gets through reads quickly and delivers consistently accurate balls. He is also a dangerous athlete on the ground, another trait lending itself to that RPO style. He is an elusive runner that can get vertical and make guys miss in space. He absolutely stresses defenses out having to account for his legs on every play. Keller understands how to improvise and make things happen, and has the tools to deliver for his team in big spots, making him one of the most interesting QBs in this class.
Keller showed up and showed out on Wednesday night. Keller was extremely composed and showed to be a true student of the game. He took coaching and direction well and it showed in his drill work. The 2028 swan valley quarterback showed solid arm strength and dangerous feet outside the pocket. Keller was always scanning the field as he rolled out of the pocket and delivered strikes down the field. I would not be surprised to see a huge fall season from the vikings quarterback as his development is evident from his showing for his Michigan made squad.
I think Keller might be under the radar to some, but I am a believer in his talent. First off, I think Bedford is projecting to excel in an RPO system at the next level. He makes quick reads and gets the ball out with a quick trigger, and on designed QB runs, he’s a twitchy athlete that can make guys miss and pick up big chunk plays. He has some good arm strength and doesn’t struggle with accuracy a bit. Another offseason of work could really kick off his recruitment in a big way.
