Micah had one of the best games of any receiver we got to see this season. Against Muskegon, he was a terror both at receiver and in the defensive secondary. Micah was running clean short routes and getting open and was able to burn DBs over the top for some deep shots. He’s a very well rounded receiver with a ton of upside. He currently holds a few offers, and whoever he ends up with is getting a little bit of a hidden gem amongst a very crowded WR class!

Micah was the MVP of the night when I saw him against Muskegon. This dude is a legit deep threat with serious speed and great hands. Multiple times he was able to finish catches through a lot of contact and still hauled it in. He has a couple of offers, but nothing like what I’d expect! His performance is one I won’t forget anytime soon and I hope I get to see this Mona Shores again this season!

Micah has been lower on the rankings for far too long. Last season, I watched Micah in person on two occasions, and he balled out in both games. I always liked his route running and release, though he used to be way more one-dimensional, catching a LOT of redzone fades and not too much else.
This season, Micah is playing much better all-around. Offensively, his blocking and versatility have improved. Now, he’s able to get open with shorter routes and earn a ton of YAC. In fact, the first highlight on his most recent tape shows him taking a crossing route 65 yards to the house. Of course, he still shows off the deep routes.
Another area where Micah has improved is defense. In short, he played fast and physically in his game against Byron Center. He could play college ball at safety or WR. D2 evaluation.

- Defensively plays the ball well, great timing on jumps
- Very physical, doesn’t get out-muscled for position
- Absolutely the MVP of the night for Shores

Micah is well due for a rankings boost, and I genuinely have no idea why he has so few offers.
In years past, I watched Micah take the top off of defenses as a receiver. Time and time again, I’ve seen him make great 50/50 grabs in the endzone. Yesterday, I watched Micah work wonders on defense.
Throughout the game, Micah was an excellent run defender. Especially against outside runs, Micah did a great job of quickly reading, reacting, and getting to the football. In terms of pass defense, he made a few extremely instinctual plays. I watched him follow the QBs eyes and jump a few routes, and no play is a better example of that than his game-sealing interception.
I like Micah as a receiver, but I might like him even more as a Safety. He proved to have an incredibly profound impact on the defensive side of the ball, and I frankly don’t understand why the entire MIAA and some GLIAC schools aren’t after him.

Micah is one of those players that quietly produces. A year ago, I wasn’t too high on Micah, but as I saw him last summer and during the season, I can tell he’s an awesome player. In college, I project him to be a slot/Z receiver, but he shouldn’t be confined to short-intermediate routes. Although he doesn’t have the height or arm length to be an X, Micah is one of the best contested ball catchers in the 2025 class. I’ve seen him climb the latter and earn contested catches in single and even double coverage. Micah needs to work on the rest of the route tree, especially routes where he has to make a quick cut. Still, he’s a great receiver who I project to be a phenomenal Division 3 receiver.

Micah is someone who I’ve been lower in in the past, but as I’ve seen him in person I’ve liked him more and more as a prospect. He’s a very physical receiver who’s able to climb the ladder to snag 50/50 balls. I don’t see Micah as the most polished route runner, but the physicality does show up at the top of his routes when he’s making any contested catch. He should continue to show his contested catch ability at camps this offseason where his recruitment should take a step forward.
