. Most linemen are too timid, while I think Vincent was a tad too aggressive. Though being too aggressive is a whole lot better than being too timid.
If Vincent’s very powerful punch hit, he’d have the opposing lineman on lockdown. One of the most effective initial punches I’ve seen all offseason. Though when the punch didn’t hit, Vincent would be caught off-balance, leaving the defensive lineman with a major opportunity. Looking for faster feet, better balance, and overall faster recovery from Vincent. Still, should be looked at as a potential college prospect as an interior offensive lineman.

Vincent has been in the rankings system for some time now, and he played on-par with my preseason expectations.
He’s an all-around solid offensive lineman. 0:16 is a great example of Vincent’s agility. In this instance, he runs left hash to right hash to execute a block on the DB. The very next play, he executes a good trap on the unsuspecting defensive tackle. Great job to not just hit the opposing DT, but to drive him backward.
Vincent is a prototypical guard. Some pretty good power, good footwork, and works his tail off to pull and execute more difficult blocks. He’s one of the better linemen in Michigan, though his height will heavily impact his recruitment.

- Standout of the trenches, specifically along the defensive line
- Fired off low and was able to anchor down and fill his gap effectively
- Great wrap ups-didn’t arm tackle and give up extra yardage
- Has the potential to be a dominant defensive tackle

This was a kid I said back in May I wanted to see in person before I made too much judgement on him. Tonight, I get that opportunity! I know from his Hudl so far this season that he has made plenty of improvement. He has improved his mobility; he is used to pull quite often and does a great job of locking on in space and getting guys on the ground. It will be interesting to see how he does tonight at creating some space and making some running room for his ball carriers.
