This week we have a longer list than what we have been used to and feature another commitment by a New York prospect to his local school. Usually, we see New York prospects start to commit to Division One Schools during June which is a major official visit time but we continue to get some early pledges from the state’s top prospects.

Denzil Williams, out of Stepinac has been a mainstay in our Recruiting Reports and he just picked up his 11th D1 offer from James Madison University. The offer comes from Chris Smith the new Offensive Line Coach for James Madison who just spent time with the New York Giants and was with James Madison HC Bob Chesney during several very successful years of Holy Cross. Williams is a super athletic OL prospect who has the capability to play multiple positions on the line at the next level.

Marques Garrett Marques Garrett 6’3″ | 240 lbs | DL Fairport | 2025 State NY out of Fairport is an impressive athlete and the OLB/EDGE/TE prospect just picked up his second D1 offer from Albany. Garrett who has offers from Buffalo and Albany now should be one of the most sought-after prospects by local D1 schools as he displays the size and athleticism to be a dynamic player coming off the edge.
Xavier Watson Xavier Watson 6’4″ | 210 lbs | WR Waverly | 2025 NY picked up both Columbia and Air Force offers this past week and continues to be a huge target for the academies and the high academic schools in the IVY League and Patriot League. The talented WR prospect out of Waverly has the film that indicates that he will only continue to gather more and more interest from Division One Schools.
Pedreros is now on like three or four straight recruiting reports as the TE prospect from Monsignor Farrell continues to add offers. Pedreros most recent is from Maine and he is a prospect who should continue to garner big interest through the spring workout season.
Jayden Mann Jayden Mann 6’4″ | 270 lbs | OL Cardinal Hayes | 2025 State NY continues to add to his long list of major P5 programs interested in his ability to play at the next level. Maryland offered this past week and Mann now is pushing some prospects for what athlete from New York has the most Power 5 offers. Mann should dominate the Spring workout season with his size and athleticism on full display.

Cardinal Hayes continues to be the dominant program in New York when it comes to the recruiting interest their program is getting and for good reason. Belin, reigning Gatorade Player of the Year and multi-time participate in the recruiting report picks picked up an offer from Yale this week to continue the serious interest from high academic institutions at the division 1 level.

Kadear Dembele Kadear Dembele 6’3″ | 285 lbs | DL Archbishop Stepinac | 2025 NY , a very talented Defensive Line prospect out of Archbishop Stepinac picked up another Division 1 offer from Dartmouth and is a prospect who should make waves in spring workouts with his combination of size and quickness. Dembele already has all the FBS offers from New York teams and could begin to expand his recruitment much further outside the northeast.

Seth Clarke Seth Clarke 6’2″ | 235 lbs | DL Monsignor Farrell | 2025 State NY out of Monsignor Farrell continues to be one of the most sought-after prospects by FCS schools in NYC. The OLB prospect should shine in spring workouts and teams will be intrigued by his burst and length coming off the edge. The most recent school to jump into the mix is Maine and Clarke now is coming close to double-digit offers.
Pat Enright out of Canisius is a big OL prospect who is picking up offers from some high-academic institutions where his ability as a football player and 4.0 GPA are a fit. Colgate is Enright’s most recent offer and his first from a New York Program. Enright is a physical blocker who was key in opening up holes for one of the best running attacks in New York.
Daunte Bacheyie Daunte Bacheyie 6’5″ | 190 lbs | WR CBA-Syracuse | 2025 State NY , a talented WR prospect from Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse who has legit size and legit speed was just re-offered by the new staff at Syracuse and could be the next Syracuse native to be a major target from the hometown D1 team. Bacheyie was part of a dynamic WR group at CBA-Syracuse and arguably has the most intriguing measurables of any WR in the state.
Jhelani Anderson Jhelani Anderson 6’0″ | 165 lbs | DB DeWitt Clinton | 2025 NY out of DeWitt Clinton and one of the most dynamic athletes in the PSAL is not only a stud on the track but has the skillset as a defensive back that translates to the next level. Syracuse who continues to emphasize track times in their skill position players is the first offer for Jhelani Anderson Jhelani Anderson 6’0″ | 165 lbs | DB DeWitt Clinton | 2025 NY who most notably becomes one of the few PSAL 2025 athletes with a P4 offer headed into his senior season.
Dominic DeAngelo Dominic DeAngelo 5’10” | 165 lbs | WR Plattsburgh | 2025 State NY who filled up the stat sheet for Plattsburgh this past season with over 650 receiving yards and 3 INTs as one of the most dynamic two-way players in Section 7. DeAngelo picks up an offer from NAIA School Judson University which plays in the National Christian College Athletic Association.

Kardiear Shepherd Kardiear Shepherd 6’7″ | 310 lbs | OL Cicero-North Syracuse | 2025 NY ends up committing not too long after his first two offers and will play for Hometown Syracuse. The massive OL prospect is one of the biggest players in the state and has the sort of elite measurables that set him apart not only from the other OL in New York but from D1 Offensive Lineman all over the northeast. Shepherd who picked up his first D1 offer from Buffalo just a few weeks ago had a quick recruitment that comes to a close with a commitment to the only P4 school in the state.
