The Prep Redzone 7v7 circuit made it’s way through Oklahoma this weekend as the second annual Sooner State Shootout took place in Broken Arrow. We had a great weekend of football and saw so many players at all levels making plays both days. Congratulations to our champions of the tournament! TheUNIT Platinum continued their dominant offseason by winning the 18U title. Sooner 7 took home the 15U and 14U championships and had a runner up finish in 12U while Level Up 7v7 would win that 12U crown but they also had teams make the 18U and 15U championship games.

In this post, we’re putting the spotlight on C4 Nation and some of their top standouts from this weekend. They have a roster that’s loaded and these are only a few of the guys that you need to know about.
Lawton MacArthur 2026 quarterback Aivan Locklin Aivan Locklin 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Lawton MacArthur | 2026 State OK had a good weekend while we got a chance to watch C4 Nation. Locklin came into the tournament as one of the top 2026 quarterbacks to watch and he lived up to the hype during games we witnessed. Locklin has a strong arm and it was on display throughout the weekend. As we’ve mentioned multiple times this week, the quarterbacks this weekend had to deal with windy conditions and that could have had a much bigger impact on the signal callers. Locklin is going to be a name to watch moving forward. We really like what Lawton MacArthur has coming back this fall and it starts with Locklin at quarterback. The state’s 2026 class is growing deeper at the quarterback position and Locklin is one of the early standouts. There’s a lot of potential here.
Wynnewood 2025 running back and Baylor commit Caden Knighten Caden Knighten 6’1″ | 180 lbs | RB Wynnewood | 2025 State OK was near the top of our short list of players we wanted to see this weekend. Knighten suffered a season-ending injury last fall and this weekend’s tournament was his first opportunity to get out on the field and compete while at 100 percent. He did not disappoint. Knighten caught a game-winning touchdown and had multiple touchdowns during pool play. Knighten is absolutely electric with the football in his hands and is looking forward to making up for lost time. Knighten was one of the state’s best football players during his sophomore season and had his junior season cut short. He told us on Saturday that he’s looking forward to reminding the state why he’s the best running back in the state. He got off to a good start during the tournament.
Washington 2025 linebacker Kash Guthmueller Kash Guthmueller 6’0″ | 195 lbs | LB Washington | 2025 State OK is a linebacker prospect that is on the rise in a hurry this offseason. We were really impressed with his film from last fall and were fired up to see him in person this weekend. In 7v7 tournaments, it’s tough for traditional linebackers to really stand out compared to wide receivers and defensive backs. But Guthmueller was able to do that. He moves incredibly well and is smooth in his transitions in pass coverage. While we were watching C4 Nation in person, his on-field IQ really stood out to us. He had a good understanding of what was going on and that allowed him to be in a good position. He made multiple pass break ups and we saw what we needed to see from an in-person evaluation standpoint. He’s going to be a linebacker to watch in the state’s 2025 class.
Highlights
Hugo 2026 wide receiver Quincy Shelton Quincy Shelton 6’0″ | WR Hugo | 2026 State OK is one of the better wide receivers in the state’s 2026 class. He got off to a fast start with C4 Nation on Saturday in one of the games that we caught in person. Shelton looks like he’s grown a few inches since the last time we saw him in person and that makes him even more intriguing to watch as a prospect. Because now that he has a little size, you combine that with the attributes that stood out to us when he was a freshman and you have a receiver on the rise. He runs excellent routes and has terrific hands. This weekend, the thing that stood out to us the most, other than his size, was how easy he makes it look out there. He’s very smooth in his movement and things just look easy for him. We’re already looking forward to seeing more of Shelton this offseason on the 7v7 circuit.
Honey Grove 2026 running back Ryelan Morris Ryelan Morris 5’10” | 170 lbs | RB Honey Grove | 2026 State TX was featured last week prior to the tournament as one of the top prospects to watch heading into the tourney. Morris is emerging as one of the top Texas running backs in that 2026 class and it’s easy to see why. One word, speed. Early on during Saturday’s game, Morris caught a pass on a crossing pattern and was simply too fast for the defense as he split the secondary and scored. Morris really impressed us with his speed in the open field and it’s obvious why he already has double digit offers and some of college football’s blue bloods are starting to notice him. We knew that Morris was a prospect to watch and he certainly lived up to the hype. This was our first chance to really see the Texas standout in person for an extended period and he really impressed.
