Morris is one the best backs in the state in the 2026 class and he returns to continue to torture defenses. He is quick with an elite first step, he runs with excellent pad level and he explodes through the hole like his hair is on fire. He is shifty in space and he has the power to run through arm tackles. Morris is a weapon in the passing game who can take passes out the backfield or line up out wide and get open. Morris is a national recruit with offers from USC, TCU, Baylor, Oregon and Oklahoma all seeking him out.

Morris, a fluid and quick RB from Honey Grove, is a force to be reckoned with at 5’11 170 lbs. His balance and agility allow him to make explosive plays in the run game, but it’s his resilience that truly sets him apart. He runs with great pad level, showing the strength and aggressiveness to finish runs and dish out contact. His ability to rarely go down on first contact and his vision and speed to go the distance is a testament to his athleticism and playmaking ability.

in person. And whenever you see the same prospect like that so many times in the same month, you can run out of things to say. Because once again, Morris was one of the best prospects in attendance and it didn’t take long to see that with his play on the field. Morris is just so smooth with his movements and the speed is absolutely next level. Every time we’ve seen Morris in the last five weeks, he has always been one of the top guys we watched and this weekend was no different.

was one of the top performers that we watched. Morris is quickly rising up the charts in terms of ’26 running backs in Texas and the offer list is also growing at a rapid pace. This weekend, Morris did what we saw him do in Oklahoma earlier this month. Out run everyone. When Morris gets the ball in his hands, he is absolutely electric with it. He was one of the fastest players at our Oklahoma tournament and that was the case again this weekend in Tennessee. He’s a fun player to watch and his arrow is pointing up in a major way moving forward.

was featured last week prior to the tournament as one of the top prospects to watch heading into the tourney. Morris is emerging as one of the top Texas running backs in that 2026 class and it’s easy to see why. One word, speed. Early on during Saturday’s game, Morris caught a pass on a crossing pattern and was simply too fast for the defense as he split the secondary and scored. Morris really impressed us with his speed in the open field and it’s obvious why he already has double digit offers and some of college football’s blue bloods are starting to notice him. We knew that Morris was a prospect to watch and he certainly lived up to the hype. This was our first chance to really see the Texas standout in person for an extended period and he really impressed.

out of Honey Grove, Texas. Morris has a ton of offers already and some of the notable ones include Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon and USC. We’ve seen plenty of running back prospects really excel at our tournaments in the last year and Morris could very well be the next guy on that list. And the thing that excites us the most about Morris is the production he had last fall. We’re fired up to see him in person against Oklahoma’s best.
