STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Versatility both alignment and positional
Leonard has tape showcasing his prowess at all three phases of the game. Love a freshman getting reps across the board, both as a DB, wideout, and return man. This usually bodes well down the line, likely to be a smart, all-around contributor the more positions you play. Separated often on tape at wideout, can get open on his own accord or with the help of set creativity. Small stature but has burners, the young man can run with pretty much anyone on the field based on his straight-line speed. Excited to see a sophomore tape that expands on his game.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Dual ability to play both pass and run game.
Good size for a freshman, carries a tweener build that suits his tweener role at Harrisburg. Build capable of playing DB, build capable of playing in the box, desirable from this sense. Has real varsity reps stationed at outside/inside slot, can legitimately play the pass under 15 yards, has a ways to go techincally in he wants to pursue DB in the future though. Knife tackler, gets the job done and doesn’t hesitate often on tape. Stationed in the box and even at the LOS at times, expecting his role to grow as a between the tackles run stopper. Blends OLB and Nickel DB really well. Excited for his future.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: None yet.
No tape yet as Mikal Shank is still waiting his turn to get varisty tick. Usually, I’d leave off prospetcs without seasonal tape on Hudl, yet I’m fully aware of Shank’s skills based on coach input, as well as camp performances. Shank Jr. will get a real evaluation/grade in time.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Size, Pursuit & Blitzing skills
- t
- 6’2, 190
Interior backer, wouldn’t have guessed he was a freshman based on tape alone, plays and carries himself like an upper classmen. Being 6’2, 190 also helps that notion stick, Clancy’s already boasting an impressive physique for the position. His read and reacts skills will only get better, but it’s a pleasure to watch him work after he reads and keys. Pursuit skills are impressive, kid can close the gap in a flash. Love how he was utilized at a blitzer, seen blitzing between guards and occasionally around tackles. Bursts out of his stance well, times/jumps the snap with a purpose, his blitzing skills are solid. This kid is ahead of the curve.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Decisiveness
Enamored with this young man’s initial tape, albeit against JV competition. Height/weight combination is already desirable, he’s going to have to hit the weight room of course. His decisiveness strikes me on tape. Cummings is clearly being coached well, his understanding of passing concepts and where he should be going with the football each set is evident. Accurate and on time, Cummings can catch the snap, work a proper dropback, and deliver a catchable ball before secondaries at this level know what’s happening. I have to pump the breaks, beacuse this is JV ball. That being said, a lot of what Cummings is showing on tape will easily translate to the next level. Outs, digs, slants, swings, hitches, all hit accurately and on time. Good on the go too, further eval after his sophomore season ends.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Production, Deep Ball (Strength & Accuracy)
Only thing holding me from making Peel a top-five QB prospect are his measurables. I shouldn’t (and don’t) hold it against him, however. He’s young and already tipping off at 6’0, that’s hardly small. Peel boasts several “wow” throws on tape. One look at his production/numbers, you’ll quickly understand that Western Beaver wants to push the ball down the field, almost at all cost. Comfortable in ten personnel looks, Peel can unleash rockets from his slight frame. Many 45-yard air-throws witnessed, I know sophomore QBs twice his size that can’t hit 45 yards clean. Peel hits 45 yards while getting popped in the mouth. Arm talent is through the roof, Peel marries great depth perception and a rocket for an arm. Reminds me a bit of Brad Birch Brad Birch 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Gateway | 2024 State PA , another QB prospect whose arm talent was undeniable. I’m excited to dive into his game a bit further at a later date.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Offensive Playmaking ability
Likely to be a future producer at Westinghouse, hopefully for years to come. Made a lasting impression on me after his score in the state title game. Likely to serve as a serious threat at the slot for the foreseable future. Where he could make noise is in the run game, as well as in special teams as a return man. A three way offensive weapon is likely to stay in good favor with rankers like myself.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Balance and Toughness
Can run out of 12/11/10 personnel sets. Serious production, played a pivotal role in Avonworth’s success last Fall. We can get the obvious out of the way, yes he’s on the small side, yet his stature hasn’t stopped him from producing clearly. Great blend of toughness and balance through the trenches. Low center of gravity, Velisaris isn’t brought down by arms reaching for him between the tackles, he isn’t likely to be tackled by the ankles. Can run out of various sets, shotgun, sweeps, all witnessed on tape. I worry about small backs and their stride/speed capabilities, but seeing Velisaris run with the rock in the return game eases this worry a bit, he can move. Placed as a top five back early on, we know how tough it is to hold that ranking, nonetheless, this young man has caught my eye. Excited to see what he plans to put on tape next Fall.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Downblocking skills
Tape is a bit limited, but I’m loving his downblocking capabilities. Good hat placement, can prevent defenders from crossing his face by getting out of his stance relatively well for a freshman who is pushing 270. Aligns well, hips are centered to target often. Attempts to climb and push his defender back after locking on and re-establishing his feet. Want to see more production on tape moving forward.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Interior Quickness, Motor
Usually aligns as an interior DL in a four down-linemen set. Could realistically play DE in a 4-3 if asked to by Penn Charter. Size and speed skills are ideal for interior play right now. Bouie, a prospect I could argue should be higher on this list, combines quickness with a relentless motor. Swims off the snap, great hand user, phenomenal first step out of his stance, Bouie is going to force IOL to move thier feet and down blcok accordingly each rep, this kid isn’t making anything easy on his opponents. Consistent and constant, two ways to describe this young man’s motor to the ball carrier. Witnessed taking on double-teams and shedding, witnessed creating penetration off the snap and barrelling through backs who attempt to help in the backfield. No matter what’s thrown in front of him, you can count on Bouie to drive his feet and pump his lower body until he’s earned a TFL/sack. A ton of penetration, a ton of hurries displayed on tape. Bouie reminds me a bit of LaSalle’s Darold Dengohe, who is currently enrolled at James Madison Univeristy, graduating out of LaSalle College HS back in 2023. Dengohe stradled the line between DE and IDL. Bouie might be faced with the same fate. So long as this kid becomes a monster in the weight room, while maintaing his quick twitch, expect him to stay in opponents backfields moving forward.
