Expert Analysis
Vic Castillo | Prep Redzone Scout
6’0, 280 out of Penn Charter with a 3.6 GPA. One of the better interior defensive linemen in the state, ranked top ten at the position. Plays primarily as a 0-tech but has the ability to move across the front. Picked up his first D1 offer from Stony Brook in early March. Recently visited Columbia and Georgetown, high-academic programs that make sense. Shot put and 110m hurdler, which confirms the athleticism at his size. This is an FCS-floor player with room to rise depending on continued development. Strong mass and power profile that translates immediately. Can dominate at the high school level across multiple alignments. Recruiting is just getting started for him. High-academic FCS programs should be all over this profile.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Interior Quickness, Motor
Usually aligns as an interior DL in a four down-linemen set. Could realistically play DE in a 4-3 if asked to by Penn Charter. Size and speed skills are ideal for interior play right now. Bouie, a prospect I could argue should be higher on this list, combines quickness with a relentless motor. Swims off the snap, great hand user, phenomenal first step out of his stance, Bouie is going to force IOL to move thier feet and down blcok accordingly each rep, this kid isn’t making anything easy on his opponents. Consistent and constant, two ways to describe this young man’s motor to the ball carrier. Witnessed taking on double-teams and shedding, witnessed creating penetration off the snap and barrelling through backs who attempt to help in the backfield. No matter what’s thrown in front of him, you can count on Bouie to drive his feet and pump his lower body until he’s earned a TFL/sack. A ton of penetration, a ton of hurries displayed on tape. Bouie reminds me a bit of LaSalle’s Darold Dengohe, who is currently enrolled at James Madison Univeristy, graduating out of LaSalle College HS back in 2023. Dengohe stradled the line between DE and IDL. Bouie might be faced with the same fate. So long as this kid becomes a monster in the weight room, while maintaing his quick twitch, expect him to stay in opponents backfields moving forward.
