At 6’1” and 220 pounds, Brown brings a strong, downhill presence that allows him to consistently disrupt opposing offenses. He shows excellent ability to read plays quickly and attack running lanes with confidence and aggression. Brown’s tackling ability stands out, as he consistently delivers strong, fundamentally sound hits. is an excellent linebacker and one of the best linebackers in the state. His ability to read and react to the play and trigger downhill is impressive. He is a good athlete who tracks ball carriers well. He runs sideline-to-sideline, making plays at a high level against opposing offenses. He is also a good tackler, especially in the open field. Brown is a difference maker who has 5 college offers already, and he should get more offers coming his way.

is an athlete. He flies around makes reads against the run and is fluid in his movements in pass coverage. Hes a hybrid player, similar to Harold Perkins (LSU) he can line up guarding slot receivers and TEs, he can line up coming off the edge, or he can line up over the A gap and blitz. Jack of all trades, and he’s more than adequate as an athlete to do these things at a high level. Hes got good length but really likes to dip underneath blockers. When he reacts in the run game he flies down hill often times being the first to the ball carrier. He has the length and height to add on more weight to his frame to become a true OLB for a power 4 program.

was outstanding at the Prep Redzone Showcase. He is a raw athlete but has so much potential. He was solid too good during the individual portion of the camp, but once he got to the one-on-one competition phase he got even better at the Showcase. He did a nice job of guarding running backs one-on-one. His skills as a competitor and athlete popped up during this phase of the showcase. Brown has a ton of potential and I cannot wait to see him next year as a sophomore.

6’2, 210 pounds. A highly touted sophomore backer who is currently ranked inside the top ten at his position.
For coaches interested, Brown has posted a lengthy ten-minute mid-season tape. Can play deep center and serve what could be called a safety role, a backer who can cover the pass. Can serve as the WILL in a 4-3 look. Is a tough kid to block because of his lateral agility, he tends to play with a controlled burst that makes getting hands locked into his chest a tough task. A one-on-one tackler you can rely on, a phenomenal athlete in a vacuum, watching him work cones drills and work angles must be a pleasure. Diagnoses the run naturally. Can take on the brunt of the flow on run sets headed his way, is a tough kid who doesn’t mind getting his face mask dirty. An early offer candidate so long as he tests well as an underclassman. Station Brown between the hashes and you go a kid who can go for ten tackles a game with ease.

is a legit linebacker for Harrisburg. Brown is good at playing in space as an outside linebacker. He does a good job of reading and reacting to the offense and making plays in both run and pass games. He is a good tackler, especially in the open field. In the passing game, Brown plays well at a high level. He is great at dropping in coverage reading the play and then breaking on the pass play to make a play on the ball. Brown has all the tools to play linebacker at an even higher-level next season.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Dual ability to play both pass and run game.
Good size for a freshman, carries a tweener build that suits his tweener role at Harrisburg. Build capable of playing DB, build capable of playing in the box, desirable from this sense. Has real varsity reps stationed at outside/inside slot, can legitimately play the pass under 15 yards, has a ways to go techincally in he wants to pursue DB in the future though. Knife tackler, gets the job done and doesn’t hesitate often on tape. Stationed in the box and even at the LOS at times, expecting his role to grow as a between the tackles run stopper. Blends OLB and Nickel DB really well. Excited for his future.
