His ability to read the quarterback’s eyes stands out, as he quickly recognizes developing plays and breaks aggressively on passes thrown in his direction. In the run game, Brown shows strong instincts by diagnosing plays early and working downhill to support the defense. He demonstrates solid tackling ability in open space, helping prevent extra yardage after contact. During the 2025-26 season, Brown recorded 42 total tackles, including 14 solo tackles and 28 assisted tackles across 11 games, averaging 3.8 tackles per game. In coverage, I like how he drops in a deep zone and covers the receivers and maintains good leverage against receivers. He also reads the quarterback’s eyes well, and then he breaks on the ball thrown near him. Then, in the run game, he is excellent at reading the play and then coming upfield to make tackles in the open field. Brown is a talented safety in the 2026 class.
