is the prototypical quarterback you want. He has great size (6’5″) and throws an impressive football. He recently picked up offers from Western Illinois and Towson. He also recently competed at the Elite 11 regional camp. Cummings is a talented quarterback with more offers coming his way.
Good luck to @logan_cummings4 this weekend as he competes at the @Elite11 Regionals❗️ pic.twitter.com/kC3TptXiIK

- If Cummings’ updated weight truly sits at 200 pounds, up 15 since we last updated his profile, I’m even further inclined to raise him on our boards, as his frame was the lone “knock” on his game. Let it be known that his 185-pound stature was hardly a concern. I have Cummings as a Division One graded QB, so nitpicking comes with the territory. That all being said, Cummings is now up to 200 pounds, standing at a whopping 6’5. 3.9 GPA, a Lacrosse midfielder, 1,800+ yards as a junior at West Chester East. 23 touchdowns to his name. I’m personally through the roof seeing both his tangible and numerical growth from afar.
- Can’t help but rave about the young man’s confidence after watching his seven-minute-long tape on Hudl. In previous write-ups of Cummings prior tapes, I already held high praise for his anticipatory skills, his accuracy, his willingness to thread the needle, and test opposing DBs. Cummings most recent tape just hammers down what I previously thought about the kid. 111/8 doesn’t do this young man justice, this in reference to his current PRZ ranking. A ton of production coming outside the pocket, through pressure/penetration, when things are ugly, a big plus for me as an evaluator. Many QBs can produce in clean pockets with targets open everywhere, this isn’t the case with Cummings. I’m aware of his gifted abilities as a passer. Now as a junior, I’m set on learning how Cummings works when things aren’t pretty. Can his body take a hit, a question that his beefed-up frame smooths out a bit. Can he throw targets open at all three levels of the field, I’m starting to feel comfortable that he can do just that. I’m going to begin pushing Cummings and Solley’s names behind the scenes to gauge if my evaluations are a hit. Check out his junior tape for yourself below.

- 6’5, 185 pounds. 3.8 GPA. Lacrosse participant at West Chester East.
- 51/96 through five games this Fall, 700+ passing yards with 11 total TDs accounted for. Lively arm on tape, no limitations in terms of route range capabilities, WC East play callers can call pretty much any passing concepts they want with Cummings behind center. Off-platform capable passer, tape is littered with impressive throws out of the tackle box and/or off-balance. I hear nothing but great things about his intangibles. Can hit tight windows in holes in front of safeties, love his confidence to test zone defenders who are relatively close to his target. These somewhat mundane reps, the “easy” ones are the special ones in my eyes. HS QB prospects don’t make the routine stuff look easy, Cummings does. He reminds me of the sophomore version of

is my personal choice as a stock riser, while the varsity reps are limited, the talent is undeniable. Standing at 6’4” he has room to add a few more pounds to his frame. The arm strength pops on film immediately. The first clip on his tape is launching a 55 yard ball for a touchdown while being hit. The understanding of arm angles and hip torque stands out to me. Those three things are very translatable traits to the varsity and college level. The only question is how high is that recruiting ceiling can go. The traits are there and enticing for many FBS schools, it just comes down to the lack of Varsity snaps in the current moment.

. Cummings has good mechanics and excellent footwork in the pocket. He stands tall in the pocket and has a great frame standing 6’3 inches tall. Cummings also shows good ability by scrambling around to make plays outside the pocket. He is a highly skilled quarterback in the 2027 class and will have to wait another year behind DeRosa.

A deeper eval will come after his sophomore season.rn
STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Decisiveness
Enamored with this young man’s initial tape, albeit against JV competition. Height/weight combination is already desirable, he’s going to have to hit the weight room of course. His decisiveness strikes me on tape. Cummings is clearly being coached well, his understanding of passing concepts and where he should be going with the football each set is evident. Accurate and on time, Cummings can catch the snap, work a proper dropback, and deliver a catchable ball before secondaries at this level know what’s happening. I have to pump the breaks, beacuse this is JV ball. That being said, a lot of what Cummings is showing on tape will easily translate to the next level. Outs, digs, slants, swings, hitches, all hit accurately and on time. Good on the go too, further eval after his sophomore season ends.
