is the best quarterback in the State. He is having a special season for La Salle College. His ability to process, read the defense, and deliver a catchable ball is impressive. He has great size and mechanics as well. He has one more game left of his stellar career. I bet he plays well.

La Salle College continues its journey to a 6A State Championship with a 49-7 win over Easton. Sidwar was his dominant self on Friday night when he threw for 262 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Sidwar, the Missouri commit, continues to show he is the best quarterback in the state with his performances. He is one more step closer to winning a 6A Championship after Friday’s game.

6’3, 190 pounds. Announced on April 18th his commitment to Missouri Football. Identified through PRZ Next before taking a snap at La Salle.
Was an underclassmen race for the top QB spot among PA 2026s between La Salle’s Sidwar and Roman Catholic’s

. In my eyes, Sidwar separated himself as a sophomore, solidifying this notion after a stellar junior campaign. Ranks as the second-highest ranking QB I’ve evaluated during my time at Prep Redzone, just one spot behind Syracuse’s Kyle McCord, formerly out of St. Joseph’s Prep.
Formerly a Rutgers commit before the rest of the country opened their eyes to his complete potential. UCLA and Ole Miss took serious swings at bringing Sidwar home, with Missouri prevailing yet again. This after Missouri beat out others for 2025 Top PA QB

is one impressive quarterback prospect. He has great size standing (6’3 inches tall) and excellent footwork in the pocket. He is also like a machine in the pocket. He does a great job of scanning the field and finding open receivers. Sidwar has all the tools to play at the next level.
Off-Season Update: Gavin’s recruitment has started to heat up over the last few months. He also has played on the Level 82 7 on 7 team. He has recently visited Rutgers and Syracuse. Sidwar will have some good choices to pick from to play College Football.

Talking to important figures/coaches in the recruiting world, Sidwar’s sophomore tape likely closed the gap between he and Roman Catholic’s

for the state’s top-ranked 2026 QB honor. Both, rankings aside, are other-worldy prospects in their own right, yet it seems Sidwar has made next-level decision-makers a bit more comfortable pulling the scholarship trigger. I will reflect this come rankings update time.
Sidwar picked heat back up after Rutgers came through the building to offer Sidwar, with South Florida, Indiana, and West Virginia following suit in the same month. We are beginning to see Sidwar’s recruiting ceiling/floor via scholarship opps, yet I’m inclined to believe he has a real shot at hearing back from the best ACC and BIG10 programs recruiting the Northeast. His ceiling has not yet been hit.

in live action. - A dog who has the mental make-up to not be deterred by big moments in games.
- More performances like this will have La Salle competitive against any team in the state.
- 13-18, 29-43, 20-29, the last three completion ratios for Sidwar, all against great talent.
- 830 yards and six touchdowns in three games. Consider these close losses as considerable growth necessary for Sidwar to develop, grow, and take the leap toward being one of the best QBs in the state.

An efficient 11 of 16, 320+ yards through the air, three scores for the top 20 prospect, and leader of the 2023 Explorers. Everything looked too easy, Sidwar’s poise, calmness both pre/post snap doesn’t teeter. Let the kid get a flow early in a game and a secondary will be in for a long night. This time last year, Sidwar excited the PCL in a debut against North Penn that saw him throw for multiple touchdowns in what was his first start. Fast forward to a year later, the stat line might look similar, yet this is a different, more confident Sidwar. Quick to distribute, phenomenal job keeping his eyes downfield despite pressure in the pocket at times. Looks like he understands where all his reads are. We’ll be seeing more of this production week in and week out. Accurate inside the five I might add.

is back at the two-spot. A PCL Red rivalry is likely setting itself up this Fall, with both Beals and Sidwar separating themselves in terms of recruiting. Sidwar is the only quarterback outside of Beals to hear back from Power Five coaches in the form of an offer. Ton of traditional qualities show up in Sidwar’s game. You see the upright, feet-grounded, tall stance in the pocket. The kid is 6’3 and growing, he’s got the frame developing the way it should. The type of quarterback to not let a pass-rush deter him. Sidwar’s got a bit to prove solely because of the late-season injury he suffered that left many of us wanting to see more. The young man is advanced beyond his years between the ears. I’m expecting a huge year out of Gavin, both in terms of wins and production.
