Chris Bernesky played left guard for La Salle College. La Salle College went on to win a state title. Looking at his film, you see a highly touted offensive guard. He has great fundamentals. His stance and the way he fires out of his stance are good. He shows a good ability to move his feet. He is especially good as a pass blocker by moving his feet to stay in front of defenders. Then, as a run blocker, he does a good job of maintaining his leverage and driving defenders off the ball. Bernesky is a talented offensive guard who should have an excellent chance of playing College Football in the future, as he visited Bloomsburg in November.
Great day at Bloomsburg!! Thanks to the coaches, staff and team for hosting. pic.twitter.com/1ahKEVWTqz

- 6’3, 290 pounds. Right guard for La Salle College.
- No tape on Hudl until six days prior to writing. Has reps against PCC, SJP, and Calvert Hall up for coaches to see. Reps against CH are brief, but exemplary. Thick lower half. Shoulders are broad enough. I dig into his measurables because tape has him grading out to the D1 level. Already a suitable build for the guard position, meets the criteria/threshold. Great functional strength, a ton of positive pass-pro reps on tape. Redirects inside counters or stunts well, short-area change of direction skills are a huge plus for a player almost pushing 300 pounds. Hips aren’t too tight from what I can tell. Want to see more production to really solidify the D1 claim, the La Salle program has a deep history of developing great OL. Witnessed resetting vs. rushes into his chest, great feet, and can shoot his hands to replace and anchor. Great vision and understanding of defensive games/stunts, who to pick up. Intriguing prospect.
