Loved watching Colmon’s eyes and attitude before the snap. Whoever is coaching up this young man at LaSalle and in the off-season, they deserve a ton of praise. A freshman who pays attention to WR splits, pre and post-snap leverage, high level of attention to detail paid throughout 1v1s. No stutter when flipping his hips. The below video doesn’t do Colmon’s complete performance justice. An immediate accelerator, one who trusts his own straight-line speed. Not witnessed panicking, I hardly ever see DBs this disciplined at this young an age. Coaches will want to learn and verify his top-end speed, esepcially considering Colmon is against the 8-ball due to his size. I still think this young man will be a relatively easy sell, this looking far ahead into the future. Fantastic balance and shoulder-level, not a guesser when attempting to stem-read. Great overall performance.

‘s weekend quietly turned into a loud argument for a rankings climb. The 2029 PA class is going to expand greatly this next coming update. Colmon looked so impressive, I highly doubt he falls from the Top 5 DB position he’s held for months now. I have all the ammunition I need to back his case to stay, if not elevate, at his current ranking. Said ranking lands him inside the Division One threshold. Elite performance from a prospect I considered elite beforehand.

Colmon played for the Philadelphia Phoenix in 2024, before suiting up for one of the best tournament teams in the Commonwealth, the Pennsylvania Little Quakers. Haven’t seen all that much film on Colmon, however, what I did see was a Cornerback with average or slightly below average size, making some impressive plays against Wide Receivers with several inches on him. DB looks to be his future home, with a very good vertical when going up in coverage. That said, he also has some wiggle to him as a Running Back on offense.
