Current Ranking and Potential Bump: One of the more polarizing prospects when talking to coaches who are recruiting 2028s in the area. Some love him as a potential Top 100 player; others are a bit lower on him than I am. That being said, I think West Chester East’s Matthew Kendro Matthew Kendro 5'11" | 165 lbs | WR/DB West Chester East | 2028 State PA will be pleased with his updated ranking. After what I saw at Villanova, I’m inclined to give him a slight boost compared to where I had him prior to June 18th’s Mark Ferrante Camp. Kendro was one of the lone wideouts to win against DBs I highlighted in this piece. Several of the DBs’ performances I lauded, yet Kendro was still able to win against the majority of them listed in this article. Love Kendro early in his reps, specifically his lateral displacement after the snap at the LOS. Kendro is a tough guard at the LOS. If he can master separating downfield, he’ll maintain this ranking for years to come.
