This was such a great mix of quarterbacks from all graduation classes with this least featuring multiple 2025, 2026, and 2027 prospects and there even being some high-level 2024 guys who are headed to play at the next level. This group was hard to choose from and you could make an argument that the group of quarterbacks was more impressive than any other position group in the tournament.
There are a lot of links to other articles here that feature analysis on these quarterbacks by myself and Vic as we covered truly all the top performances from this tournament.
Nick Conlan Nick Conlan 5’10” | 170 lbs | QB West Haven | 2025 State New E was not only the top quarterback performer but the overall MVP of the tournament as he led CT-Prime to a dominant performance throughout both days on their way to winning the entire tournament. Conlan was quick and efficient getting the ball out quickly and spreading it to multiple different targets all weekend. Check out some more analysis on Conlan and his CT-Prime counterparts in Vic’s article about the champions.

Lamar Best was one of the top arm talents in the tournament and he showcased the ability to make all the throws you ask of a quarterback. If Best and Jersey Tough were able to close out the championship game we may be talking about him as the #1 quarterback in the tournament. Best was easily one of the best 2026 prospects in the tournament and check out some analysis on his play in the rundown of the runner-up’s Jersey Tough.
Highlights
Henning the first of St. Joseph’s Prep quarterbacks on this list was one of the most accurate throwers on the day and is featured in the top 10 overall performers as he showcased some of the best poise and confidence dropping back. Henning showed at times he could push the ball down the field and I was impressed by some of the throws he made. Check out some analysis on Henning as a top 10 performer.
Charlie Foulke IV Charlie Foulke IV 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB St. Joseph’s Prep | 2027 State PA was a top 10 performer just like his St. Joseph’s Prep teammates and also I named him as one of the top 2027s overall at the tournament. Foulke was impressive making throws to the sidelines and showcased some high level arm talent for a ’27 prospect. Check out Foulke IV and a throwing compilation of his top plays in our top 10 article.
Antonio Fontanez really turned it up on Day 2 in single-elimination play where he was one of the most consistent throwers on the day. While Fontanez was still a top performer on day 1 when we reached single-elimination play Fontanez showcased some zip and velocity on tight-window throws that we did not see on day 1. Fontanez showcased impressive ball placement and was able to hit guys in traffic in stride. Fontanez threw some balls there were in a spot that only his guy could make a play on them and he let his top playmakers make plays. Fontanez showcased good quick delivery and his ability to spread the ball all around the field showcased that he was one of the top QBs at the event.
Romy Jain Romy Jain 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Souhegan | 2025 State New E was a very impressive QB prospect and the recent reclass/transfer at Loomis Chaffee is a bright 2026 prospect in New England. Jain plays with good poise and showcases the ability to dominant on short area and intermediate throws. Jain was good at hitting guys in stride through zones and changing ball placement based on defender coverage and the space and windows he had to throw too. Jain showed confidence and the ability to work in rhythm getting the ball out quickly. I was impressed with the entire Breakthrough Elite 7v7 team but the offense was able to move so well because of Jain’s ability to distribute the ball so consistently and efficiently.

William Wood William Wood 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Xaverian Brothers | 2027 State New E a prospect who is one of the most known 2027 prospects in the northeast put his arm talent on display where his velocity and quick release stack up against any other ’27 QB prospect in the country. Wood was named a top 2027 performer and you can check out some analysis of his performance in that feature.

Luke Anzlovar who was one of the top quarterbacks in the tournament helped a talented RAW Talent Sports 7v7 team efficiently move the ball and work down the field. Anzlovar was able to push the ball down the field vertically and showcased some nice touch on his deep ball. Anzlovar was patient in letting route concepts develop and he let his guys get open showcasing good poise and confidence against the clock. Anzlovar was able to make plays in all three levels and showcased the ability to push the ball vertically something other quarterbacks were reluctant to do in this tournament.

Ben Walsh Ben Walsh 5’7″ | 140 lbs | QB Souderton Area | 2026 State PA the QB for PA Tribe showcases some of the best work on short and intermediate throws. Walsh was consistently able to hit moving targets and showcased the ability to make throws over the first level of zone coverage underneath the safeties. Walsh consistently read crossing routes well and was able to make quick decisions based on the small movements of defenders. I was impressed with the consistency of Walsh and he was never too high and never too low through the ebbs and flows of the tournament.
Jordan Johnson Jordan Johnson 6’1″ | 225 lbs | ATH Lawrence Academy | 2025 State New E was a big-time performer for DOGG WRLD and was a big reason why their squad made a deep run in the playoffs and was able to upset the #1 seed along the way. Johnson is efficient and showcased good decision-making and accuracy through the two days of the tournament.
