possesses some good skills as a quarterback. He is a classic quarterback who feels comfortable in the pocket. His mechanics are good, and he does an excellent job of reading the defense. He throws with anticipation and seems to understand how to throw the ball underneath to open receivers. He anticipates where receivers will be, and he throws them to that spot. He has good mobility, and he can scramble around and make a play if the play breaks down. Walsh’s film is good, and with another strong year, he should be able to get a chance to play college football.
Another great season for @SoudyFB @egallagher2 @WingTPasser @PRZPAvic Check out my highlight – https://t.co/ceK9XwKxVh

Question I Want Answered: Has Walsh developed further since last live Evaluation?
5’11, 170 pounds. 3.25 GPA. Named Offensive MVP at Souderton. Will be one of many Soudy Indians in attendance. Mightily impressed with the growth I witnessed out of

both last off-season, as well as throughout his junior campaign this Fall. I had a Division III grade on Walsh for some time, yet Walsh has forced me to believe he’s a step ahead where I thought he’d be this time two years ago. Ranked inside the Top 400, ranked inside the Top 30 at his position, I’m excited to dig deeper into Walsh’s game, putting the junior passer under our microscope yet again. Has Walsh improved in any aspect since the last time I saw him perform, this being against Cheltenham in a regular season bout? Have his mechanics improved, has his release improved, where is his confidence level at, especially in a setting like this? I have a feeling I know the answer to the majority of the questions I have, yet I want to see Walsh prove to me that he has another ceiling to break through. Excited to have him.

this year with hopes to get him elevated on our rankings. I think we are on that trajectory, just a matter of how high can he climb. Walsh came into the season impressing PRZ scouts after tearing up our 7v7 event. Below will be a breakdown of Walsh’s tape, as well as input from what I’ve seen during my live evaluation against Cheltenham.
Can uncork footballs 40+ yards without a major hitch. Measurables should be taken account of, yet shouldn’t make or break his recruitment. One of the few QB prospects I’d be willing to take a chance on that don’t meet height/weight thresholds. Reads safety positioning well. Reads outside leverage battles well, knows when to hit vertical targets based on whether they are open. A brain that is working on the field, a prospect who isn’t reliant on his athleticism, he’s reliant on making the correct reads, both throwing the football or when operating zone-reads. Cerebral approach yet has the “big-play” in mind. Can move to run or to throw in sprint-out sets. Fantastic in-rhythm passer, this likely because how much experience he has working this playbook. Can hit seams, hitches, and digs in time. I have to remind myself that Walsh is a junior, he carries himself like a senior both on and off the field in terms of maturity. Walsh is an active camper and Souderton makes it easy to recruit their kids, it’s likely Walsh is already on local D3/2s radars as of today.

tossed three touchdowns in an almost effortless win against Cheltenham, I was present. Much of what you see on tape was verified in person. On time, correct read after correct read, always looking where he should be looking, complete command of the huddle. The Cheltenham game was a breeze for Walsh, was nice seeing him work again. If you have Souderton on schedule, don’t put anything past Walsh, he can operate this offense to a tee.

the QB for PA Tribe showcases some of the best work on short and intermediate throws. Walsh was consistently able to hit moving targets and showcased the ability to make throws over the first level of zone coverage underneath the safeties. Walsh consistently read crossing routes well and was able to make quick decisions based on the small movements of defenders. I was impressed with the consistency of Walsh and he was never too high and never too low through the ebbs and flows of the tournament.

An undersized QB that is steadily growing. A look at his early reps on tape and you’d think the kid is 6’2, 220 with the arm he boasts, almost 50 air yards in stride to his target downfield, immediately flashing the hip torque and arm strength necessary to wow coaches willing to take a chance on him. Could be the QB on this list with the most arm talent. Real zip, real confidence to thread needles between safeties. Holeshots scattered throughout his tape too. Doesn’t rely on open wideouts to uncork throws, has the confidence and accuracy to deliver balls to covered individuals, not every HS QB can do this. Anticipation, flash,
