Thompson is yet another linebacker that is returning after being named to the team last year, as a seventh grader. In full disclosure, Thompson was not a player I wrote down or even remembered seeing at last year’s event. However, after he attended our PRZ Next camp this winter and came home with Linebacker MVP, he not only caught my attention–but the attention of many others. A unique talent in the fact that he looks like a natural at middle linebacker, but at 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds is also strong enough to bump down and play defensive end.
