Colin Anderson Colin Anderson 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Houston County | 2026 State GA is one special talent out of the backfield and his ability to run the rock in many ways is what helps balance this Houston County offensive fire power. Anderson has great vision, agility and burst once he hits the hole at the line of scrimmage. He is quick, fast and has a level of physicality about him that is simply hard to contain. He will be a big part of Friday’s match, and it’ll be interesting to see how he performs against a very fast, tough and physical Rome defense. He’s a name to follow this week.

“Anderson is over 700 yards rushing on the year and has also produced as a receiver out of the backfield. Anderson is undersized, but compensates with his explosiveness and speed. He is a no-nonsense runner in the sense that he doesn’t waste time dancing in space. Instead, he spots an opening, sticks his foot in the ground, and gets vertical. From there, he has the speed to break away and stay away. The state is loaded with underrated senior RBs ready to contribute at the small school level, and Anderson is another guy who can check that box.”

A speedy, electric back from Middle Georgia running wild right now as a senior, Anderson is a back who can score from anywhere on the field and a major weapon with the ball in his hands. He’s carried the ball 75 times through his first seven games for 848 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s rushed for at least 100 yards in every game but one and has rushed for a touchdown in every game but two. He may be on the smaller side, but he’s a one of the fastest backs in the area and is averaging an impressive 11.3 yards per carry. He’s a big-play weapon and will be an easy addition to the next 2026 Prep Redzone rankings this winter.
