In my opinion, the most complete and high school-ready of the three quarterback’s selected for the Georgia Future Stars eighth grade team this year, is Dunlap. A muscular 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds right now, he is a threat to beat defenses with his arms and his legs. This 2027 class from Georgia had an all-world performance from JR Harris JR Harris 5'10" | 165 lbs | QB Carrollton Central | 2027 State GA in the Future Stars event last year, but with him not on the team this year, a loaded Georgia team will go as far as the quarterback position will take them. While Dunlap isn’t as quick as Harris, he’s equally as dangerous with his arm and will help keep the defense honest. After a tremendous season at Mossy Creek Middle School and standout performance at the Prep Redzone Next camp this winter, the Warner Robins native earned a home on the 2027PRZ Next National Watchlist.

Grey is a shifty dual-threat quarterback hailing from the talent-factory state of Georgia. The term “extension of the coaching staff” comes to mind when evaluating him. Certainly looks to be a well-liked leader and remains calm under pressure. Grey is a hard runner who has no problem carrying the ball between the tackles. At 5-foot-10 and 160-pounds, he runs low and hard , and unlike other quarterbacks, Grey is going to fight through contact to gain as many yards as possible. Gray has a very smooth throwing motion that allows him to sling the ball effortlessly around the yard and has the precision to hit his wideouts in areas that allow them to continue to advance the ball down field after the catch. Grey also proves to have a cannon for an arm, and has no problem tossing the ball deep to one of his targets downfield accurately. There’s a confident swagger to this kid and without ever meeting him in person, I feel like I’d be super comfortable handing him the keys to my offense.
