Mathis is the leading receiver for Houston County and has a handful of FBS offers under his belt. He is a cut, lean athlete who can play inside-out and make plays at each level of the field. He flashes quick feet and good deception skills at critical points of the route. He tracks the ball well over his shoulder and can make catches in a crowd. Mathis is a well-rounded prospect with a high floor and capable of contributing at the D1 level.
One of the more productive receivers across Middle Georgia last season, this sure-handed wideout out of Houston County picked up another offer recently from the Troy Trojans. Mathis is quick, shifty, and has enough speed to fly past defenders vertically down the field. He shows dependable hands as he hauled in 64 passes last season as a junior for 1,025 yards and 11 touchdowns in 13 games. His biggest game came against rival Northside where he caught nine passes for 204 yards and three touchdowns.
Another Middle Georgia pass-catcher with natural speed and big-play ability, Mathis is one of the fastest players in the Warner Robins area who brings above-average hands and the ability to score from anywhere on the field. He’s a natural wideout coming off a giant junior season where he caught 64 passes for 1,025 yards and 11 touchdowns. He’s one of the top returning receivers in the area and likely bound for a gigantic senior season next fall. He earned a new offer recently from Southern Miss and should see more come his way this spring and summer
The 6’0 180 WR had a good season as WR2 last Fall and his recruitment is getting ready to take off. He has the athleticism to go up and over DBs to make the catch and the speed to out run the defense with the ball in his hands, a natural playmaker. He had 64 catches last Fall for over 1000 yds with 11 TDs. He will have a new signal caller in the backfield this Fall but Mathis has the potential to be one of the States leading WR’s in 2025. He recently received an offer from Jacksonville State to go with 4 D1 offers he received before last season. Great Upside.
