Jordan Smith Jordan Smith 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Houston County | 2026 State GA , a UGA commit, is one of the premier 2026 DB prospects in Georgia. Here is what PRZ Scout Matt DeBary had to say on Smith from back in April:
“Now ranked as the No. 1 DB in the state for the 2026 class, Smith is a ball-hawking safety from Middle Georgia with terrific instincts in coverage, a lengthy frame, and the ability to wrap up and make a secure tackle on the ball-carrier. He has a nose for the football and consistently finds himself around the play. He’s a big-time prospect who checks just about every box you look for in a playmaking safety. He made a big jump in the rankings after a big 2024 season where he made 85 tackles, two INTs and seven more pass-breakups. He’s now ranked as the No. 7 overall prospect in the state.”

Jordan Smith Jordan Smith 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Houston County | 2026 State GA has emerged this spring as one of the hottest 2026 prospects in Georgia, seemingly adding an FBS or P4 offer to his name every day. Smith checks the physical boxes at safety, listed at 6’2 190 with unverified 4.38 speed. He is an instinctual player and there isn’t a play on the field that he isn’t capable of making. He roams center field with the best of them, tracking the deep ball well, breaking on underneath routes, and flashing good enough ball skills to finish plays around the football. He looks to be a reliable tackler as well, quickly getting downhill and settling down before tripping up ball carriers. Smith’s size, speed, and instincts make him a prototype S for the P4 level.
