He showed the ability to mirror receivers and fight across their bodies to break up passes when the ball was thrown his way. Hicks also showed tremendous ability to come downhill and make tackles against the run, finishing the season with 30 tackles and one tackle for loss in 12 games. He also finished the season with a half sack. Hicks signed with Northwestern where I can see him becoming a key part of their secondary once he gets there.

Hicks had a solid junior year (limited reps like Lowe), finishing with 23 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. Terrion lines up at the opposite corner where he has proven to be very reliable against the run. He plays with a ton of physicality, showing the ability to shed blocks in a hurry and get to the ball to make tackles in the open field. In pass coverage, he has shown the ability to thrive in both man and zone coverage. He does a great job of reading route combinations and when the ball is thrown his way, he breaks on the pass in a hurry to make a play. Terrion is committed to Northwestern where I see him developing into a key piece of their secondary once he gets there.

Hicks also had himself a solid junior season, finishing with 23 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. He is a very physical corner on the outside that is impressive against the run. Hicks comes downhill in a hurry once he reads the run and fights through blocks on his way to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, Hicks does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle. Against the pass, Hicks shows the ability to be very productive in both man and zone coverage. When the ball is thrown his way, he shows the ability to break on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Hicks currently holds offers from Army, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Austin Peay, Northwestern, Western Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, and Miami (OH), and I expect that list to continue to grow as he has the talent to play at the Division I level.

Terrion currently holds offers from Miami (OH), Eastern Kentucky, Western Michigan, and Northwestern, and that list will continue to grow as he has received a ton of college interest and is yet another Power 5 caliber prospect on the Broncos defense.

Against the pass, Hicks shows the ability to be reliable in both man and zone coverage and does a great job of timing the pass to break on it and make plays on the ball.
